Well maybe it is an age thing. I think what he said pretty much sums up what i think Florida is. I also thought his tweets were hilarious, i mean the things that came out of his mouth was just somethin else

...I guess I'll have to trust ya...

I just have this horrible habit of looking at things like this and thinking how bad his folks must feel...I can't get beyond that to see the humor I guess...

Let me correct myself. Yes for College football this is rock bottom. But probably not the worst ive seen of all collegiate sports. College bball is rediculous.

This has nothing to do with tweets and behavior off the court but it's along the same point...

I saw home video of a bball game from a buddy of mine who went to Howard about ten or so years back between Howard and some other school??? Can't even remember... anyway, the Howard PG crossed over his defender really badly to the point the defender fell over and the PG began driving to the paint... and then he stopped............ because he just HAD to celebrate how bad he shook him, point and show up his defender WHILE THE GAME WAS STILL GOING... and so did the crowd... everyone with a court side seat flooded the court while everyone else gave "OHHHHHhhhhh!!!" Like it was an and1 mix tape or something... just unreal the self aggrandizing... try being the official during all that... lol

Was just going to try and forget I ever saw any of this...and move on...then it occured to me how bad things must be at Florida for this type of crap to go on, and for the guy to share it as if there wasn't a problem with his conduct, nor his being identified as a Florida player.

Wonder what the NCAA is waiting for here? If there ever were a CLEAR indication of a lack of institutional control, this would be the best since USC had one person in their compliance office, and ganstas on the sidelines.

I'm fairly confident he won't end up a Steeler...Thank God!
To be fair, the Steelers best player is Ben Roethlisberger. Not really the classiest guy around.

Also, what is the uproar about? Is it about his actions or his Tweeting about it? I would almost guarantee that no school in America is immune to this. This one is just out there for everyone to see. I'm not sure how the NCAA would crack down on Florida regarding a player Tweeting about sex and drugs. And as far as I know, Hill is pretty much in the doghouse at Florida and has been all year. He was suspended at the start of the year. So it's not like Florida hasn't done anything about him or his behavior.

Mostly, it makes me feel sad because the kid had/has all world talent. Who knows what this does to his draft status, if his underachieving season wasn't enough. Where is Tebow when you need him?

Ah yes...big Ben. He is a complete moron, but I'm pretty sure no one knew how flawed his character was when he was drafted...otherwise, he probably wouldn't be a Steeler...now that he is...well, I'm not a Rooney, so he's a Steeler until they trade for Jimmy....

Uproar? Yea this is pretty tame actually.

I didn't say the NCAA should or could address this specific behavior...Sure I wish they had some minimum standards of conduct, but they don't. I did say...it should get their attention. This conduct should make the NCAA go...hmm, this guy makes Caligula blush...wonder why he acts with such impunity...wonder why he's not afraid of being disciplined...wonder what he's doing that he does think is worthy of hiding...wonder if the atmosphere down there contributed to this guy's take on life.

His conduct should tell them, in addition to the double digit arrests, that the coaching staff does/did not have control of any kind...further if a kid thinks nothing of posting this stuff for all the world to see, then just what is pushing the envelope for him and the others in that program...you know, conduct they want to hide. Dude, spare me the relativism...if it happens elsewhere, and they Tweet about it, those guys suck too...

Is it the conduct or the tweets etc. that got my ire. I think his conduct is his to recon. As well, the conduct of others you mention is also theirs to recon. This guy's Tweets embarass his family, Florida, Florida fans, and his own sorry arse...his tweets reached alot of kids I'm sure...just contributing to the faulty notion of what it is to be a man...so all-in-all he's a selfish, disloyal bafoon who hurts everyone who helped him get the opportunities he has had, and will have.

USC has this...at least there will always be Florida.

Well, you wonder what the "NCAA is waiting for." When you ask that question, it tells me that you want them to actually do something regarding Florida, not just take notice. My bad.

As far as Big Ben, his actions, whatever they were, even if not illegal, were probably classless. He has pictures of himself wasted at bars. Heck, Jimmy Clausen has an internet picture where he is drinking. But Ben's a "moron", while Will Hill is "Caligula" acting with "impunity" because the Steelers didn't know about it when they drafted him. Oh, but Florida knew Will Hill would get sex and Tweet it? Golden Tate stole donuts. Is he Al Capone? That is my problem with this whole deal. I don't like or condone his behavior, but people are kidding themselves if they think it doesn't happen at other places, even ND. And they are jumping on it because it's Florida. But, like the Big Ben situation, it might be okay just depending.

I have no idea what type of person Will Hill is. But keep in mind that these Tweets probably don't represent everything that he is or everything that Florida football is. Tim Tebow is probably one of the better people to come out of college football lately and he went there and was a leader there.

...to be clear, I still am wandering...they can't "bust" this kid, but they can take a good hard look at the environment/program that led to this conduct...hope thats a better way to say this

As far as Big Ben, his actions, whatever they were, even if not illegal, were probably classless. He has pictures of himself wasted at bars. Heck, Jimmy Clausen has an internet picture where he is drinking.

Those things are even remotley alike precisely (or even loosely for that matter) how? Way stretching for something here.

But Ben's a "moron", while Will Hill is "Caligula" acting with "impunity" because the Steelers didn't know about it when they drafted him.

I'm saying the Steelers wouldn't have drafted dip Sh!t had they known he had character issues (just my opinion)...Hills are out there for all to see...and I would bet they won't draft Hill because the organization tends not to invite those kind of issues.

Oh, but Florida knew Will Hill would get sex and Tweet it?

you miss the point...Hill is a complete douche bag, but Florida's lack of control allowed it to get so far out of hand he felt comfortable enough to do this(and talk about hookers etc without any reservations)...back to my whole lack of control spiel.

Golden Tate stole donuts. Is he Al Capone?

that was dumb of him...but seriously...not even close
keep stretching like this and I'm renaming you gumby...

That is my problem with this whole deal. I don't like or condone his behavior, but people are kidding themselves if they think it doesn't happen at other places, even ND.

told you my issue was with his tweeting it...and how doing so takes his self-destructive behavior and makes those most responsible for his opportunities victims (his folks, Florida, Florida fans)...again if it happens elsewhere, those people are idiots too...and dude, if tweets like that ever came out of ND...Kelly and co would introduce that player to...THE DOOR! Thing is...there just is not the atmosphere at ND where someone would think that conduct, or tweeting about it was normal...

And they are jumping on it because it's Florida. But, like the Big Ben situation, it might be okay just depending.

maybe so...I don't know...seems easy to say its just because its Florida...but when your arrest rate exceeds your scholarship athlete grad rate...you might have earned the attention...yes I exagerate...but not by much.

I have no idea what type of person Will Hill is. But keep in mind that these Tweets probably don't represent everything that he is or everything that Florida football is. Tim Tebow is probably one of the better people to come out of college football lately and he went there and was a leader there.

I will keep that in mind...so what your saying is, there is a side to him that his mom might be proud of...except Hill is too busy hopping around on his richard like tigger and tweeting about it to show much of that side...so his image of selfish bafoon is well earned. As well, Florida Football is perceived in the way its conduct provides.

Tebow was fine...good kid.

Holy cow a NFL team actually took this piece of ****? Well... that's disappointing in a "universal balance of right and wrong" sort of way.

not sure, but it is a misused substance. Usually folks crush and snort.

Adderall is a stimulant useded to treat ADD and ADHD. When people who actually have ADHD or ADD the drug calms them down and allows them to focus. As said above it is usually crushed and snorted and jacks up people who dont need it almost instantneaously but still provides focus. It is most widely used by and abused by young adults (college students), particularly those without a prescription and who need to cram for tests or study alot in a short amount of time. It used to be Ritalin, now it is Aderall. It is abused so much that it actually goes into shortages because the Feds control how much is made. I know people who need it who cant get it sometimes.

I dont know if he has a presecription or not. I know if a doctor prescribes it, he may be able to take it and still play.

Will Hill has actually cleaned his act up considerably. He is actually a decent guy now. Sucks for him, he has played pretty well this season
