I came in as a five-star in chemistry, and managed to sneak out the back door of the laboratory before Father Nieuwland and Knute Rockne could void my diploma. It was a near thing.

The only reason you dropped to a 2 star was due to the fact that you committed to ND. Had you committed elsewhere, say a UF or Southern Cal, then you wpuld have automatically been given that 5 star and thus not needed to claw your way to a 4 star.
