I sure hope Tuitt stays I think a firm commitment from Ishaq or Scarlett will help secure him.

Anyone know what Tuitt had to say at his AA interview on Rivals or II????

Curious how the recent success has solidified him.

At this point ND has done all they can do in terms of impressing him etc. All they can do is stay on top of him and keep reiterating how much progress ND has made this year. Being that Stephon is down to ND and GT it can only be true love if he de-commits and signs on there. ND is clearly a better opportunity for winning football and literally has his major. I'm not too worried about it. He'll enjoy his visit to GT and may take a few days to consider things but I truly believe the athlete and the student in him will stick with ND.

Gonna be a big month after the non contact period is over in order to make this 100% Irish. We better get after him and stay on him til his name is on the dotted line

I agree with you. Call hiim every week; as much as possible.

Sounds like Tuitt and Matthew Hegarty are getting to know one another at the AA game.

Seems like a very nice kid. From everything I have read and heard about Stephon Tuitt, I would expect him to be a great fit at Notre Dame. He is the kind of kid who lets his play on the field do the talking and he is (by all accounts) a conscientious student.

Let's hope so, if he does I'd rather it be early so it's fresh out of his mind when he makes a decision.

I'm not concerned about him visiting GT or any other school for that matter. Everything I've read or heard mskes me believe he's going to be rocking South Bend next year!

STEPHON TUITT, DE, 6-5, 260, GA, NOTRE DAME: Lynch and Williams used speed to dominate on the edge while Tuitt used sheer power. The Monroe native showed an impressive first step during the week of practice, which combined with his tremendous length, size, and power makes him a scary matchup for any offensive lineman. Tuitt also showed improvements in some areas of previous concern, such as consistency off the ball and playing with good leverage. This improved leverage allowed Tuitt to blow up the run game from his right end position. Tuitt was not all about blowing up the run, he also made a huge impact in the pass game by using his power to drive linemen back into the quarterback. What surprised me was how effectively he was able to attack the edge with his good first step and speed against the pass. Tuitt’s power moves sent the East quarterbacks into the waiting arms of Aaron Lynch on several occasions. Tuitt showed he is one of the nation’s best defensive linemen.
