Funny how recruiting works..When Lynch was committed to us, all F$U fans were saying how much better Drew was and that he would have a better career because Lynch would just be a run stopper. Now the Drew has eliminated F$U, they are saying he is not that good and Lynch is much better. Crazy fans, us Irish fans would never do that............................

I would love to see a commit from a guy like Ray Drew and I think that the dominos would fall after that getting guys like French, Huggins, Ishaq and Grant.

I know that it's wishful thinking, but a win over USC could definitely grab some people's attention.

I think that a win will make it is easier for some recuirts to make their decisions on whether or not to come to south bend not so much the fact we beat USC , but for that fact that this team was not playing very good and the coaches helped get this team in the right direction. This coaching staff has impressed me with beiing able to make the changes to improve this football team in the last 3 weeks.

The things that this young man should focus on are: 1). early playing time, with a monster classmate [Tuitt] on the other side; 2). a defense already stocked with a lot of good teammates just needing a couple of young studs to make them destroyers; 3). and a degree second to none to build a life upon. Notice that none of those things had anything to do with USC. A thoughtful person wonders about how it will be when HE'S playing. I believe that some of these young people DO in fact think of such matters, and their parents do too, and they are more likely the type of person we want at ND anyway.--------------------but, what-the-h***, beat USC anyway!

Auburn will be tough to beat for this kid....but UCLA getting crushed the last two weeks by giving up 79 points, and Michigans usual late season swoon SHOULD get us his "out of the south" visit.

I predict his vists and top five in order:

Auburn, LSU, Georgia, ND, toss up between Tenn and Clemson
