I'm so torn.
Brisset has size and speed while Golson seems to be an RKG and serious interest in ND.
Not saying that Brisset isn't a great kid..... I really want one of them BAD!

Some "ESPN Recruting Analyst" named Chris Pool, is reporting that Brissett is favoring LSU and UNC right now.
I highly doubt this is right...but just thought I'd let you know what I just read on twitter.

It would be funny if he was favoring UNC with the possible sanctions and them already having 2 QB commitments for this class

good possibility. I think I prefer Golson to be honest with you anyways. I guess we will see what develops over the next several days.

I personally think we have a much better shot at Golson that Brissett. I think Brissett will stay in the south, and I also believe that Nick O'Leary and Curt Maggitt have a lot to do with his decision as well. The Dwyer trio would like to stay together if possible. I have heard LSU and Miami as the leader for Brissett.
As for Golson, call me crazy but I really do think he is Irish when its all said and done. There is just far to much going on at UNC and because he will enroll early, he would have to sign before the NCAA came down with punishments. That is a huge risk for a talented young man to take.
On the flip side, if we do end up with Golson, I think it will have a ripple affect and hurt our chances with some 2012 qb recruits.

To Irishman: maybe right; but maybe it could test whether the ace recruits have the self-confidence to be true star leaders at the D-1 level. Might work to our advantage in the filtering process. Plus Golson-driven success on the field translates to impressions on the next generations of stars. So I say, Roll Them Dice!!

Interesting choice with Driskell entering as a freshman as well. Does anyone know if Brissett is more of a pro-style QB or spread QB?

He is a dual-threat quarterback that is better suited for a spread offense. My guess is, if he stays with Florida, he will see more playing time than Driskell will.

Does anyone know what type of offense Florida will run? Charlie is definitely more of a pro style coach, but the team seems more built for the spread - though they are probably talented enough to play either style. Perhaps Florida wanted both types of QBs so they could be flexible.
