recieved a 2011 Army All American game invite.

Love this kid and I think we need his speed and agility on our defense. Seems to be down to Notre Dame, Iowa, and Missouri.

6' 6" and a 4.4? Seriously? Where do you even put a player like that on defense.

Will be taking his official visit this weekend. Ow Ow

I'll make sure we roll out the red carpet for him Terry. Right down ND Ave into Main Circle...

I'll be sure to introduce myself...jk

Not to get off topic, but how do you guys feel about chatting up a recruit? I talked with Seantrel Henderson last year when he was in my dorm. He seemed surprised that I knew who he was. Wondering what your thoughts were...

I believe we should all take turns going to our competitions campus' , pretend to be a fan or alum of that school and act like total jerkoffs to the kids we are competeing for jsut to sour them on that school....

who's with me??

Fine by me as long as you aren't breaking any rules. I think the better question is if Christian and Ishaq both want to commit this weekend, do we have room to take them both, or do we take the first that wants to? Also, could we take Lyons in addition to both of those guys?

Some reports are that he has run a 4.35 forty; problem was, (don't know how he feels now) that he wanted to play on the offensive side of the ball. Question is, are the other schools telling him the same, that he will be an unbelievable monster on defense.

A 6'6 safety running at you full tilt with a 4.4 and then lowering the B O O M !'

Thats crazy, now I'm dreaming of it nightly.

Big race to sign between him and Williams now.

Take them both and make room for other elite recruits who fit into Kelly's system.

We would take all of them. The only 5th year seniors that I think are guaranteed to have a spot next year are Smith, Gray and Dever. If we only took those 3 that would leave 5 more spots and that's not even taking into consideration the possibility of either Floyd and/or Rudolph leaving early.

6'6" 4.4 screams big play WR. I think you get this kind of guy on your team and then figure out where he fits in the off season.

6'6" 4.4 screams Brian Urlacher clone to me...

Safety extraordinaire in college, convert to a linebacker in the NFL.

If you go to the school, no problem at all. I think my brother hung out with Te'o a little bit when he was visiting ND.

There is no guarantee to granting a 5th year, but I would venture a guess that you're correct that those 3 are about as close to a "guaranteed" 5th yr. as any of the seniors. Agreed, take them all ... things will sort out one way or another.

Though I hope they do, but I'd be surprised that both Floyd and Rudy return next yr. If one or both of them jump to the NFL .... more spots available to fill.

Don't know if this is new news, but I read today he has a top 6--ND, Iowa, Missouri, Oregon, Nebraska, and Texas A&M...Officially visited Oregon, and Iowa, coming to ND this weekend, and A&M next weekend, mentioned wanting to visit Iowa again at some point.

http://www.irishsportsdaily.com/blogs/coach-ds-blog/3459-french-enjoying-visit

French is still in South Bend and will be until Monday. Mother and step-father really seem to enjoy the campus and what Notre Dame offers academically. The visit seems to be going well but French will visit Texas A&M this weekend and Iowa in the near future. The process is not ending anytime soon but the Irish seem to be in good shape.

Did anyone read the comments from the TAMU fans? They were actually kind of nice to ND.
