I wasn’t saying I don’t think he will play. It’s still not great if it’s been two weeks to clear concussion protocol by any measure

That could be them simply being overly cautious. IDK if he's officially out of concussion protocol until he's practicing again.

Afternoon gentlemen. First time poster. Flying out to Salt Lake in the next few hours and will be heading to Provo. Probably a long shot, but does anyone know where the Irish fans will be setting up and tailgating? I'd imagine this is a real long shot, but are there any bars or pregame activities set up? We'll be going to check out Gameday and then go from there.

Check and see if there is a ND club for SLC. They might have some info

Everything I’ve read is that BYU does not allow tailgating. Looks like the ND Club SLC tailgate is sold out. Best bet is pick a bar and start drinking, you’re bound to find some Irish fans

I live in Park City and drive through Provo occasionally. Not much of a bar scene that I've ever noticed, but there may be a few north of the stadium on 189.

If they are following return to play protocol, you essentially have a 6 stage progression once you are symptom free after the rest period. If symptoms return at any point in the progression, you have to go back to the previous step. Each stage requires a minimum of 24 hours.

1. Full schoolwork days
2. Light aerobic exercise
3. Sport specific exercises
4. Non-contact training/practice
5. Full contact practice
6. Unrestricted return to play.

Leonard may be on step 4 or 5 and may not be fully cleared until tomorrow or Saturday.

It's in a strip mall with a movie theater pub, adult novelty store, and a massage parlor

"Alright everyone I need some feedback on this. In this group and from what I see on twitter, everyone is looking for something to do pregame so I’m trying to set something up. This is next to Boozin Cougs, so I figure best area to try and get a few drinks in before the game.

Would like to get some rsvps before really committing to this. If there are any ND fans in Provo coming and you can bring a TV to watch other games that would be fantastic. Let’s get this ball rolling!"

This is correct - and sometimes medical staffs will take extra days to reduce risk of reinjury or limit full contact portions. Probably what happened last week against Stanford. Highest risk of repeat concussion is within 2 weeks.

Who got that really late interception last game?

Came down on their back and stayed down for a bit.

It was a terrific pick. Are they OK? Playing against BYU, I hope!!

Herbie is giddy already about BYU's dominant defense. They're going to be flying around. I'm going to be so agitated Saturday, especially Denbrock starts Denbrocking. I wish we were able to use our TE game down the seams.
