ND will be the betting favorite to win the title at the start of the season.
They already are the betting favorites right now. Without the two best running backs and yet they weren’t in the playoffs? Fishy. Vegas should decide who makes the CFP.

NG: Jason Onye
2. Tionne Gray
3. Armel Mukam

DT: Francis Brewu
2. Elijah Hughes
3. Chris Burgess

Yep. Sign me up for this... If they haven't been already, I'd start cutting weight off Keon Keeley and Cole Mullins immediately. I'd like to see them both in the 260-265lb range, as the #3/#4 DE's rounding out the 2-deep behind Young and Traore.

It’s amazing the difference a few weeks makes. Pretty exciting to see what this line can do

Really happy for Jason. Hoping it‘s just the beginning for him personally & as a student-athlete.

Also shocked the NCAA sided with him. Maybe he left out the part of him being at ND.

Onye has flashed as a playmaker a bit over the past 2 years. He needs to make those flashes his consistent level of play, and stay on the field this year. If he does, he could have a monster final year. Ability is there, just needs to do it.

If the last half of the season was any indication, he was gaining that consistency. In the final 6 weeks of the season, Onye was the highest rated P4 DT per PFF and was 3rd in QB pressures among P4 DTs. If he carries that over, and Brewu does the same or even builds on his body of work, woof. That's a unit.

This is amazing. I thought it was going to take ND creating social backlash to get this approved. He 100% deserved this waiver.

Can't wait to see what Onye can do in his final year. How's everyone feeling vis-a-vis defensive tackles?

Hey Keon. Welcome to Notre Dame. Here's a key to your room, some Ozempic and a salad. Cole is over there eating some crackers.

Imperfect stats and all from PFF, but Onye ranked as ND’s best pass rusher last year. Yes, above Traore
That doesn't surprise me TBH. Traore was actually quite underwhelming to me last year. Might've had too high of expectations for him personally.

This DL is going to look like what Bama looked like to me in 2012. Honestly, I'll never forget the video of them walking past our team taking the field. I knew we had no chance after that. I have a feeling many of our players and staff knew it too.
