I like the work he's done over his career and I like that he's coming from the NFL. Seems lile a no nonsense, ass kicker type and the room may need that.

In today's game, so much of recruiting elite DL comes down to Rev Share + NIL as the top guys are highly coveted and they get insane cash offers. As a result, there is less emphasis on simply being a great relationship builder and recruiter and more emphasis on proving that you can develop guys at a high level and get them drafted. I suspect that Patridge will be excellent in that realm. Seems like a solid upgrade, st least on paper.

He was my guy my first semester as a GA at Eastern Illinois in fall of 2002. Elite recruiter. We stacked the roster for when Tony Romo and that class left. The program is going to have bigger inroads on the DL now and in Florida. He can coach DL, LB, special teams. He's been a DC and was HC at FAU for three years. Stacked their roster for Kiffin.

This is tremendous. Great way to start off the New Year. If this is Pete and Marcus' first show across the bow, be fucking warned.
