Don't mind him, he just looks for any opportunity to post his typical bed wetting comments. It's his schtick.
Oh, I know. Makes some people feel better if they’re the ones staying composed while everyone else is freaking out, even when it’s a discussion board on the internet and nobody is actually freaking out.

I have a hard time believing we don’t figure something out for 2026 with SC bc this schedule sucks. Finding another ranked team to play in less than 12 months is going to be near impossible.

Its really not that bad. Yea FSU and Wisconsin arent what you'd expect them to be, but with the portal its not impossible to see them turnaround next year, especially FSU who at least showed life early on. I think were allowed one easier year especially with the gauntlet that is 2029.

I don't know. It's pretty mid. It would've been better 10 years ago, when Wisconsin and Sparty weren't ass. But here we are. Several of these teams are probably looking at new coaches, so maybe one of them pops, but right now it's not much. Going to FSU is always fun but it probably won't help our SOS. SMU's decent. But it's basically Miami.

As for USC, to play us next year they're going to have to bend on the early season thing, we're already booked (with Big Ten teams) all September. Wisconsin's not moving that game again. Maybe Purdue would punt but USC probably has to go to Minnesota the following week or something and heaven forfend. And yeah WTF with Stanford?

2028 schedule due to have Texas, Auburn, Arkansas. Clemson as an ACC game or not and Miami as an ACC game. Would expect some sort or change there, especially if anything is struck for ND/USC.

The ACC arrangement provided some level of scheduling consistency when combined with our "rivalry" games that we were able to pencil in every year. It only left a few games each year that our AD had to worry about.

If USC and Stanford disappear from the normal schedule, it creates a lot more of a challenge to fill out the schedule in a way that is consistent in quality from year to year.

I have no idea why I'm replying to this thread. I need to spend more time focusing on our WR recruiting.

Great news on Auburn home and away series! Btw, next year's schedule looks like shit atm. Miami is on it, but who knows with The Canes.

Does anyone know who we may be targeting for two more games to add for 2026, assuming USC doesn't get added back to the schedule?

It's with situations like this that I think sometimes it would be better to be in a conference

Aren't we still missing two games for 26?

Brice has said that there is a MAC team that ND is very close to agreeing to a game for next year with. It seems that the USC game is the hope for the final game.

While I don't give a shit who OU/UF play, damn near 100% of ND fans appear to be delighted about this development.
