I tend to agree. On one hand, I think every coach knows that although the NFL is a grind like any other football gig, you can leave it in the office/facilities. No recruiting. That has to cut the workload down so much.
On the other hand, Freeman just seems to jive with these young college kids. Maybe that translates to the NFL but I'm not sure. At any rate, he knows he's got this thing rolling here and it took him 3 years to get the program to where it is these past couple of seasons. I feel like he is wise enough to know the grass isn't always greener. He seems genuinely happy, as do a vast majority of our fans.
Probably going to have to pay him again though, going to be a lot of that going on for the programs that are happy with their HCs with the openings rn. UF and PSU are both going to pay whatever it takes to reel in their guy. This is going to be a really bizarre coaching carousel
