Start early! This sounds fun and all, but it might be a bit of a walk to Alumni Stadium in Boston

wut?If you drive from Chicago to ND there are these gas station/rest stops along the way I see people tailgating. They look happy
Yeah, but how is the forecast looking? This is a game where anyone who is banged up should not even play we could beat them by 30 with our third string
Will BC even have to take the field when the Irish take on the slight drizzle???Yeah, but how is the forecast looking?
Good point. Will the flight from South Bend even be able to land at Logan?Yeah, but how is the forecast looking?
On the other hand, I think it is very real that ND needs to demolish teams to aid the narrative that they deserve a mulligan for weeks one and two. This is a game where anyone who is banged up should not even play we could beat them by 30 with our third string
They don't need mulligans. Essentially playing top teams evenly is only further evidence of being a top team.On the other hand, I think it is very real that ND needs to demolish teams to aid the narrative that they deserve a mulligan for weeks one and two.
The Bama transfer, Lonergan, has been benched in favor of Grayson James. They’re still losing. James can run a little but isn’t good by any stretch of the imagination.Yikes they lost by 15 to UConn? I really thought O'Brien and that Bama transfer QB would get them at least to decent. (Also amazingly ticket prices to our game really haven't come down. That's going to be a very ND crowd, I'd think).
I wish it was that simple. Texas A&M and Miami may both fall out of the top ten by the end of the season. Style points would not hurt ND's resume and narrative. They don't need mulligans. Essentially playing top teams evenly is only further evidence of being a top team.
If ND got in with three losses, including a bad one, that would involve a mulligan.
Yes, it's true they may drop, and good things don't hurt, but you can count me among those confident ND will mke the playoffs if they win out.I wish it was that simple. Has to be. Probably on ESPN2, as well.I mean this has gotta be a 12:00 kick right?
This thing where they wait as long as possible to set times for games is dumb. People need to make plans.Just announced a six day hold, we'll get a game time Saturday night/Sunday morning whenever they drop
ACC schedule that week without TV or time:
GT @ NCSt
Miami @ SMU
UVA @ Cal
Could see this getting the 7 PM ESPN treatment just due to process of elimination and getting the primetime ND bump
7 PM ESPN is almost always an SEC game. Day game ABC or ESPN, noon or 3:30 most likely. Could even drop to ACCN which would really be a shame. We did play Duke on ACCN a few years ago.Just announced a six day hold, we'll get a game time Saturday night/Sunday morning whenever they drop

They've been running SEC triple headers on ABC this year. Already have UGA/Florida in the 3:30 ABC slot. The three games I listed above are the only games we're going up against and if ESPN chooses to run the full day SEC on ABC programming again, they won't have any issue putting ND/BC in that primetime ESPN spot7 PM ESPN is almost always an SEC game. I would prefer that we don't force feed Love in an attempt to get him to New York. Even if he got there, he wouldn't take home the prize. We need to stat stuff Loves stats so he can make it to New York I wanna see 200 yards on the ground and more receiving yards
