How many points and yards did we put up against Miami in the second half? Our OLine is better now and their DLine is about as good as it gets. We’re good enough we could just be better with Jagusah at left tackle. Carr, Denbrock and the Oline have grown a lot in 5 games.I missed that Jagusah update - thanks for ruining my week ab2c. I'm not sure this OL holds against a top tier DL without him.
No point of rooting for penn to beat Ohio. Ohio st is getting in regardlessWhat would you say if Penn state rises up to beat Ohio State?! It can happen. Dare to dream. Btw any team with more than 3 losses should never make the playoff regardless of conference titles. Tough shit.

Yes, that is what we want.OSU and Oregon running the table to play for the conference title is probably the best way to reduce B1G participation.
I also think rooting for Georgia, Ole Miss, A&M, and the winner of Bama-Tennessee would be prudent.
Kinda nice to have the best QB in any of those hypothetical matchups for once.on second thought - I would rather play Illinois, Indiana, Penn State or Michigan over pretty much any of those teams. Refreshing that none of them are a huge pucker factor though.
Yep. Biggest risk to us is being up against a bunch of 10-2 teams from the B1G and SEC (to a lesser extent from the ACC and Big 12). We want undefeated/one-loss teams, and teams with 3+ losses. Root for favorites to run the table, not widespread chaos. It's boring and not fun but it'll much improve our odds of meaningful December/January football.OSU and Oregon running the table to play for the conference title is probably the best way to reduce B1G participation.
Todd Mcshay and his co-host(can’t remember his name), think ND is in at 10-2.
Funny but we spent much of the midportion of last year debating the same thing. Could we get in? Then could we get a home game? Granted we had one loss not two but of course it was a far worse loss, and all turned out fine. The only ones even debating it at this point are the clickbait folks like Bud Elliott. The real question at this is can 10-2 ND climb high enough to get a home game. Without having to worry about re-seeding because of byes this year, being ranked 8th will get them a home game whereas last year they would have been the 10th. I think they will end up 9 or 10, but there are some projections now that have them hosting.
I’m liking the idea of ND getting the first home and road wins of on-campus playoff gamesOther fans would be pissed if we got a home spot and I'd understand them (would still take it though). Annoyed that we might never see that primo No. 5 spot that Jack set up for us before the cfb playoffs change again. (Though even that doesnt mean as much since we can earn a bye now.)
We could potentially end up with a similar resume as Penn State last year. Close losses to top 5 teams and a win against a fringe top 25 team. We screamed that they were not worthy, I'm sure that others would scream about ND if we end up with that kind of seed this year. I can easily justify why we should get that high of a seed, but I understand why others would be screaming.Other fans would be pissed if we got a home spot and I'd understand them (would still take it though). I would say kudos to whoever the interim coach was that finally did what Big Game James could not. What would you say if Penn state rises up to beat Ohio State?!
Who does this guy have in the playoffs is none of these teams are in?
Rage bait, do not engageOklahoma is more likely to be unranked by the end of the year than a playoff team
I tend to agree. Their remaining schedule is brutal.Oklahoma is more likely to be unranked by the end of the year than a playoff team
Seems pretty manageable, maybe a loss vs Bama and Tenn?I tend to agree. Their remaining schedule is brutal.
Red River Rivalry vs. Texas
@ South Carolina
Ole Miss
@ Tennessee
@ Bama
Mizzou
I could see them losing every game. Will they? Most likely not but 2-4 losses seems plausible.Seems pretty manageable, maybe a loss vs Bama and Tenn?
They could definitely lose to Illinois, PSU, and Michigan and miss the b10 championship. Unlikely, but it wouldnt be a total shocker. would they still get in if that happened? No point of rooting for penn to beat Ohio. Ohio st is getting in regardless
