Lincoln Riley is so charmin soft it isn't even funny. Nobody made you join the B1G as a west-coast program. Literally nobody. What did you think was going to happen? The PAC-12, which USC essentially thought they were too good for, protected them like crazy when it came to scheduling. They never had to play November road games in Pullman or Corvallis, it was only ever early October day games when the weather was pleasant.

Agreed. It's one thing to root for chaos (upsets, conference cannibalism and the like) but we have a long way to go before it's time to start having the "path to the CFP."

For starters, we literally have no margin for error. We are in our own playoff now after the first two games. One week at a time. Beat Broncos.

100% agree, last season after the NIU loss they used that momentum and went 1-0 each week. They got better and better each week.

I wish him luck but since he did reject ND in his recruitment he needs to do it the hard way I think - keep putting out good analysis and let it grow organically rather than selling it to us VIA established talking heads. I did not, but he's been doing a lot of Notre Dame analysis on his Twitter feed this season. I suspect he noticed the size/engagement of our fan base around the Orange Bowl last year and is leaning into it. Which is great. He's a good analyst, especially of OL and run game play, and more the merrier.

I checked it out specifically b/c he was on. I couldn’t finish it b/c Singer gets on my nerves. I did listen to enough to hear Tengwell not mince words about his former coach. Wow.

Singer was horrible this episode. Felt like they wasted a ton of time talking about nothing instead of letting Tengwell actually talk about the X's and O's.
