Watched the Youtube II podcast... O'Malley said maybe he could be back by the playoffs
Brice immediately shook his head and made a no face

I feel like a second surgery means they should take their time with recovery. I don't know shit, though and there are medical professionals on here who could say better.

Obviously It is tight lipped but it could have been an infection from the previous surgery. Or it could be the first surgery just didn’t take it happens.

This self inflicted wound is just a real bummer. For him of course but if he’s as good as we think he’s the difference between being undefeated and having two losses right now. One play one way or the other in each loss was all it took.
Getting tired of looking to next season 3-4 games into a season. Will we have as good a wr corps? Live will be gone. Keeping Price is huge. He could get paid more staying than getting draft late round.

Having 0 information about the case directly or indirectly (other than Brice on the podcast), I wouldn't be surprised if he developed an underlying infection that required removal of the hardware and a washout. Probably weeks of IV antibiotics in those cases.

Again, just a guess but that fits with JB's inference of severity. Apologies if this is too speculative and against the rules.

I broke my leg twice. First time required surgery to screw the tib back together. Second time that wasnt needed. Never broke an arm. Im confused what kind of setback you can really have during healing other than infection or something catastrophic?

He's not the difference between the two wins alone...

He isn't the reason ALONE... for TWO wins. Reading comprehension is tough, I know.

Besides, based on how bad Knapp was, I doubt it matters than much if Jagusah plays. And he certainly doesn't win us the game against A&M.
If knapp didn't get hurt vs PSU with Jagusah coming in, we do NOT win. Completely different oline with him in.

What's crazy is he actually could be. That wouldn't fix the defense of course but you could easily convince me the offense would have done better with him in the lineup.

A twist, Jagusah alone at RG as planned does not win either game. Jagusah alone at LT is likely the difference in the Miami game.

We scored 40 points against A&M... we aren't winning that one just because of him.

Miami in the lineup? Yeah he is certainly massive in it, but I don't know if he is enough to overcome Denbrock calling 4 passes that travel across the LOS, or the defense in the first half.

Tbf, both coordinators deserved spankings that day.

Disagree on Denbrock deserving a spanking. We scored 24 points on a very good defense, first game of the year with a redshirt freshman QB getting his first start in a hostile environment. Neither Florida or a ranked South Florida scored more than 12 on them, and they had the benefit of 2025 game film to work with. Could we have scored more? Absolutely, 1st half for sure was a slow start. Given the circumstances and the 17 points in the 4th I think it was not spanking worthy. The defense on the other hand gave up big plays in the red zone, broken 20+ yard passes that the 2024 defense wouldn't have done. Miami's offense isn't as good as it was last year, we shouldn't have allowed some of those scores or at least held them to a FG on one. That team is not #2 in the country.
