I can’t think of anyone more prepared to deal with 80 hour work weeks than a ND football player. Probably won’t be much change in his free time whatsoever. Work like a dog for a couple of years and then move on to something better. Great stepping stone.

I was super mad at him right after the TD, now that the games been over for a bit? I blame the D and Ass for the loss and I feel awful thinking about the way he was crying. He basically gifted A and M one point. How many did Ash gift them?

I don't blame him whatsoever. Sure, he made a mistake but any blame placed on him takes blame away from Ash and I will not do that. This loss hangs squarely on Ash and the man who hired him.

A quarterback really does need to make a 5 yard throw to an open receiver.

This. Tyler made a mistake, it happens, but the game should have never come down to that hold. The defense cannot give up 41 points in regulation and expect to win.

Just went back and rewatched. The coverage was tighter than I remembered, but the throw isn't anywhere near him regardless.

Yes it was like showing that georgia kid constantly in the playoff game.

Kid feels bad enough as it is. The viewers don't need to see that over and over.

Couldn't agree more. Yeah, it was a pivotal point in the game and everyone is going to hang their hat on one point. It sucked. But the healthier way to look at it is how you and a few others above did. One point in an otherwise embarrassing defensive effort. Also, there's no guarantee that Elko would've settled for OT with how well Moss was running on the goal line, and I also wasn't very confident in ND's chances if it got to OT the way our D was playing.

I thought I'd be livid at him, but I found myself saying a quick prayer for him instead. It was tough seeing how devastated he was, knowing full well his DMs were probably blowing up with irrational fans and/or bettors with threats, insults etc. Nobody deserves that shit.

This guy is like a reoccurring nightmare that continues to plague the football team.

First, he was recruited as QB and had a noodle/shot put arm, and was an abysmal for ND.

Quits on ND, Transfers to Bama after flaming out here, only to also blow at Bama in his only appearance.

Quits Football and leaves Bama

Comes back to ND play LAX

Walks back onto the football team in 2024 (No Idea why they would even let this loser do that)

And fast forward now to 2025, he is still here, dressing for games, and fumbling snaps and losing important games for the Irish. This guy has not done one positive thing for the football team in 4 years...yet he is still here.


You can not make this level of hilariousness up. It is almost like they deserve this for keeping this kid on the team and as a part of the program. Serious, national title aspiring teams, would never do such a stupid thing (Multiple Times)
