The key for both pulled pork and brisket imo is,… if cooked low and slow you cannot go too long, you can however, with those two cuts not go long enough. Give it time. If it’s not easily coming apart when you test it with a fork and are ready to get it off the smoker,… wrap it back up and give it another hour or more.

It's not even a half way decent hot dog chili.
It actually evolved from a Greek style stew that was originally intended to be served over pasta. It’s really not close to traditional chili but I’d guess the inventors used the word chili because people in the area were familiar with that word. The use for topping hot dogs didn’t come until later on when customers started specifically requesting it. One of my past business partners was a relative (actually his wife) of the family who started Skyline so I thought I’d share what he had told me.

We had this discussion today for my last day of summer classes,… I proposed to the students that ChickfilA is good but unremarkable and that Popeyes is objectively a much better chicken sandwich, often for better value. I have faith in the future generations, literally every student who has had both agreed.
