Well we didn’t need him anymore than we used him until this game. He had a shot to be that guy against NIU and that was a brutal drop. I’d like to see him with socks as I think it give the appearance of speed! I hope Thomas and Colzie get some love next year as they have hung in there and can be decent shirt yardage possession receivers. Couldn’t blame them if the left though because they have the size and experience to play elsewhere. Love how this team gets contributions from so many different players!

They were super pissed we snagged him to begin with, they wanted him bad. On the Texas board anytime they have a game thread for ND they often talk about how he'd look better in Burnt Orange. I wouldn't put it past them to throw some serious money to lure him back home.

His emergence may not be as insanely flashy, but Greathouse reminds me of Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

I definitely think he can and should break out, I just feel like we've done this every offseason with our WRs lately and always end up disappointed in the results lol. Would be massive for Carr and this offense if he and Fields had big seasons. And hopefully a healthy Faison can take that next step.

Bought the Lindy's Sports CFB 2025 Preview mag on a whim at the airport last weekend...they had Jayden Greathouse as the second WR off of the board for their 2026 NFL Draft prediction. Wild, and it would be massive if that came to fruition.
I'm surprised how many people are hyping him up outside of SB, but I guess a big playoff will do that. Would be incredible for him to be a go-to guy for Carr.

To be fair, there were other players signing autographs, but greathouse is the only person I sign my $300 baseball glove.
Autograph sessions are funny. The guy behind me asked Jaden what position he plays after asking him if he went to the Penn State game. Players generally look bored tears while signing autographs, but that made everybody laugh hysterically.

I was just about to comment how nice a glove that was but figured it wasnt worth a bump.
My first year in college we were sponsored by Marucci and then swapped to Rawlings the other 3. I love my Marucci way more than my Rawlings gloves.
Granted my Wilson A2000 I had all through high school is still the GOAT.

I think Greathouse will end up being a better college receiver than either of these guys, but it reminds me a little of Corey Robinson and EQ St. Brown both getting hyped up in Way Too Early mock drafts because they had huge games in primetime against big teams. Having great production while everyone is watching will get you way more hype.
