Bua has brought some real knowledge, and you got your panties in a twist for no reason other than being Loy's defender which is kind of odd. You really look like a jealous bitch in all of this.

My senior year I told half the teachers I was not going to college and half I was going to Indiana State. Each for different reasons.

BobbyMac is a stud. Dude has posted over 30,000 messages and brings a lot of info to the site, especially regarding recruiting which is a touchy subject that even Merckx and Bua have talked about in their AMA thread. Coaches don't want info getting out a lot of the time, so I wouldn't be surprised if Merckx and Bua won't be sharing info during recruitments.

Take Salmin as an example—we likely won’t get the full story until after the cycle ends, and by then, who knows if anyone will even care? That’s the challenge of recruiting intel: balancing information with discretion. It’s a different game than general insider scoops, which is why I think Mac is backing Loy—he gets it. I appreciate having Mac and others who take what Loy shares, add their own insights, and help paint a clearer picture in the moment. For recruiting junkies, that’s invaluable. Sure, the info won’t always be 100% accurate, but no insider can guarantee perfect accuracy when coaches and programs actively try to keep things quiet.

I love having Bua and Merckx here, but we also need guys like BobbyMac who can provide recruiting intel they might not be able to, at least consistently, while maintaining trust with their sources.

And let’s be real—Mac offers way more than just Green CBs. But I get it, that was probably just hyperbole, so I’ll let it slide.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter if BobbyMac or Bua is right, what really matters is that we are on the verge of landing Gunner Rivers in the 2027 class and that is way bigger then if you are on Loys side or not.

Surely Riley Leonard is assisting in this recruitment? Both are from Fairhope, Alabama. Hopefully we don't have any inside NC State pressure.

I have no dog in the fight, and this is no shot at Bua, but the level of “Loy Don’t Do Shit” from Bua is also odd imo.

I was a brief 247 subscriber, and thought Loy was okay. We’re all aware of how the industry works.

But to say Loy is no loss because he never has good info just seems false. We know Loy has connections and gets the scoop, and we know he’s reported plenty of shit both accurately AND inaccurately in the past.

But to act like losing Loy as a sounding board or resource for a paid site is an “addition by subtraction” situation is wild to me.

More info is always better than less info, even if the info is sometimes bad. Even bad info tells its own story imo.

Pretty surprised by Pete’s opening takeaway of practice and then subsequent tone throughout

“This is gonna be a challenge to put the house back together” talking about all the losses on the roster and staff. I really don’t think it’s that much given the national landscape which I would expect Pete to be more in tune with than most on the beat.

To be annoying and put a number on it, they are #62 in returning production. That is with a QB change. They’ve been in the 100s in a handful of years past
