Maximus gave us a great quote to send to the Big 10 and OSU
“The time for honoring yourself will soon be at an end"

My wife made me sit through Mother's Instinct a few nights ago, surprisingly decent film.

We watched it at theater and enjoyed it. My only complaint was it ended with a lot to wonder but then realized it was a series. Was slow at times but I’m sure the action will pick up part 2.

When is the second part supposed to release, btw?
I don’t think they’ve announced a release date yet.

Really excited to see this too and hoping it is meets expectations, but a bit skeptical since the general public rating is 74% when the critics is 85%. Usually not a good sign when the normies give it a lower rating....
Everything I’m hearing is if you like Eggers you’ll like this one.

Saw a Complete Unknown. Lots of good tunes (if you like Dylan). It was just about his early career, folk music and his start to change into mainstream music. Tim C. as Dylan and Edward Norton as Pete Seeger were both great!! Up for Oscar’s.

Watched the most recent Venom last night. Okay, not as good as the prior ones.

The wife & I watched “The Substance” with Demi Moore & it’s insane..

It’s worth a watch.. I can’t even say if it’s good or not. It just devolves into insanity after a ton of nudity.

Excited to see this, though at first blush Caulkin's character seems lifted from Succession.

I'm planning on doing something similar. My grandfather was off the boat after WWII and lost his family behind the curtain. A lot of crazy stuff went down by the communists directed towards Polish ex-pats living abroad. Real heartbreaking stuff. Even after the wall came down, he wouldn't go back because his family was torn apart by ideology. Anyways, with Poland having done a 180, I look forward to seeing it followed by a river cruise on the Danube.

I watched Flight Risk this weekend. All in all not a good movie, but as I saw somebody describe it, it wasn't bad for a "fuck it, it's January, this is what you get" movie. I would say it is fine to go see if you have literally nothing to do, and definitely not a waste of money.

That being said, Mark Wahlberg was so right when he said, regarding 9/11, ""If I was on that plane, it wouldn't have went down like it did."
