Seeing more and more talk about him trying to do what Pavia has done and try to get another year. Will be interesting because this might actually be the best case. Let Cj be the #2 and get some playing time behind him next year.

It would be a good outcome for us, but what is the legal argument for Leonard getting another year? He played in seven games his freshman year. He also played in seven games last year. Seven is more than four. And he was at Duke, not some JUCO.
Or is it simply that nothing matters anymore?

Where are you seeing this? Haven’t heard a reliable source on this.

Because Riley Leonard played JC football?

What is the basis for the request or lawsuit?

This would be the most ideal situation of all situations… meaning it won’t happen

I was thinking of this the other day when the ND podcasts were being asked. Look, it's already coming, but Riley Leonard and ND challenging this would hasten the end of eligibility imo. It's a pretty cut and dry case that Leonard (along with a guy like Mitchell Evans) don't qualify for a 5th year, and challenging those requirements will accelerate CFB into an even more semi-pro League.

Taulia tried this a year ago and the NCAA issued a denial. I guess Riley Leonard could sue the NCAA, but I’m confused what grounds people think he has, besides thinking the NCAA is that useless. Pavia and Leonard have no similarities.

Disagree.
Both are quarterbacks.
Both are swell lookers.
And neither of them is Chinese.

I battled people for week’s on here defending our guy after NIU, Purdue and Miami OH.

He has continually gotten better and shown everyone why he’s the man. There’s a lot more that goes into QB play than slinging it around like Tom Brady. What a dawg in the biggest moments.

You win then. I don’t want to go back and look at what my comments were in September.
He has been tremendous.

That would be so cool. Make terra cotta statues of the entire roster with MF at their head, and bury them underneath the stadium, so that a thousand years from now, they will be excavated and future societies will marvel at the sight.
