My bro in Christ I love your spirit but you cannot count on ND to have an advantage in any of LB, OL, WR, DC (effectively Kirby) or OC. The QB+ is not huge, frankly. The RB+ is not huge. The DL- is, in fact, huge. How anyone can look at this pick em ass spread and feel strongly about 10pts either way tests the boundRies of homerdom. Pray for clear hearts and turnover luck.
Why?
ND's OL has been impressive, and definitely better than UGA's. UGA's interior is decent, but their tackles have sucked.
ND's LB's have been elite, even without KVA. Bowen is an elite monster. Ausberry, Sneed and Kiser have their niche and have been great.
WR....weirdly, I'd take ND's. Yeah, I don't think ND's receiving group is great by any stretch, but UGA's is not impressive at all.
When it comes to DC, there's no questioning that Al Golden is one of, if not, the best DC in the game. Not so sure about Denbrock. He's been jekyll and hyde.
The RB advantage is definitely huge. Etienne is a quality back, but Love is arguably the best back in the nation. Price and Williams are also studs. Etienne and Frazier aren't on that level.
And I can't imagine how Leonard isn't a huge advantage. Stockton has played all of one legitimate half of football as a starter and was woefully unimpressive.
I don't think it's beyond the realm of disbelief that UGA could beat ND. They have legit talent, but it'll come down to them playing beyond the level they've shown to this point. Absolutely possible, but it hasn't happened.
