Not talking about the seeds, but I think Notre Dame should absolutely be ranked ahead of both Georgia and Texas.

Good lord I hate the entire concept and reality of this committee.
Yea. I understood why, but didn’t really agree, when it was just 4 teams. But now with 12 just use the unbiased AP poll and let it be that. This is just a vanity project at this point.

Giving how bad they've played and comparing resumes, it wouldn't shock me to see Texas fall behind ND.

They just don't have the resume to stack up.
Assuming Oregon win, I think they will put them at 5 to have Bama play #6 ND. If Oregon loss, I think they will put them at #7 to have Bama play #6 ND.

If SMU loses then I honestly don’t really know what they do. They gotta stop with these “weekly ranking shows.”

ND will play Bama regardless, whether we are 5 or 6. No way they put SEC vs SEC.

But I don’t think they will drop Oregon to 7 with a loss. Now at they could justify that. In that case, Texas would fall to 7 probably.

I thing we're 6 against Alabama (Oregon wins) or 7 against Indiana (Penn State wins).

Texas has zero ranked wins. The best thing on their resume is two losses to Georgia.

Zero reason why they should be ranked ahead of Notre Dame or even Tennessee.

Can we talk about how poorly coached Texas is and how their points-to-yards ratio is legit terrible in big games?
Sark is supposed to be the genius behind the UT offense. We all saw how ridiculous that take was.
I can't argue the difference.

FUCKING THIS!

I’ve said it for years. The March Madness committee doesn’t do weekly releases starting in January. They just release where the seeds are on Selection Sunday. This bullshit weekly fuck show causes the messed they put themselves in.

So you guys think Bama is for sure in over SMU if SMU loses this game? If Clemson kills them maybe, but I have a hard time seeing them reconcile "we won't punish teams for playing in their CCG" and dropping an 11-1 regular season team out if it's a tight game.

I really don't know. It'll be interesting though.

Yes. No way the committee leaves their beloved Alabama out.

I think it’s more likely we get the 7 seed if Penn state keeps it close against Oregon.

Yes. No way bama will be left out. And while it’s only the 1Q, SMU looks like an AAC team trying to play G4 football. Clemson is not impressive so if they beat SMU comfortably, they’re gone.

I really hope these championship games rate crap enough that they get rid of them in the next few years. There is no way Clemson deserves to be in a position to claim the ACC over SMU.
Even with a loss to them SMU would have a better record than Clemson.
