Hopefully Sneed is feeling better about his role recently and so many young players getting some PT. Could see losing Jayden Thomas if we go looking in the portal for more WRs. Same goes for the TEs. So many players contributing. Feel like we lose a QB even though we don’t get one in the portal. Buchner can be QB3 if we lose one of our top 3. Question is who would you prefer leaving?

I'd bet on one of Price, Williams or Young leaving. If Price gets a draft grade I'd bet he would go. RB careers are short, the sooner they got on a roster the better.

You will need to 2 because at least 2 transfer out and that will be 3 of 4 years the MF era will have taken a transfer. The high school guys will see they can’t develop a qb and move on.

We have Buchner as our insurance QB. We can lose one of the two but won’t be surprised if all 3 stay. Minchey and Angeli are close to getting degrees from ND and both should know they won’t be making a living at it either. Get that degree. It worked for Sonny Hostin!

I completely disagree with the bolded....if ND lands the QB I mentioned and 2 years later he's a 1st round pick, well, there you go. ND developed a QB. And look, QB plans change on a fly. I simply do not buy that Freeman and co. are ready to hand the keys to the offense over to a CJ Carr who's already been injured and therefore missing practice reps, a Kenny Minchey who hasn't touched the field since the Purdue game, or a Steve Angeli that they've passed over 2x already.

Mosley specifically chose Stanford because he wanted to blaze his own path instead of following in the footsteps of his parents. So I'd say that one is unlikely, plus he would be walking away from an undergraduate degree.

Not to mention what the SEC schools and the rest of the bozos are going to attempt when they go out and try to poach guys like Vanderbilt's QB, etc.

Now that the players are “professionals”, it‘s like unlimited free agency with essentially no regulation other than portal windows. Could you imagine what MLB, NFL, NBA would look like if every player could become a free agent each year? That’s essentially what we have in CFB right now.

The problem with taking Ewers is that they need to buy 1-2 DT's who are either studs or have a lot of upside and 2-3 WR's who can truly start on a CFP caliber team. It'd be easier if ND just let fans contribute to the NIL fund, like pretty much all the SEC schools do.
