Fair point. ND vs Colorado in SB.Fair point. But if that’s the case CU won’t be hosting in the first round either.

Deion Sanders might break the NFL Draft: Colorado coach vows to step in if wrong team tries to draft his son
Deion has a specific plan in mind for his son's NFL futurewww.cbssports.com
Archie Manning did this with Eli.
There were rumors that Caleb and his dad were going to do this with the Bears. Those turned out to be nonsense.
Nevertheless, Jerry Jones persisted....If I was an owner I would tell my GM to stay away from anyone associated with Sanders.
Leipold is certainly better than most.Since his Jackson State days. If talent is equal he always loses to a better coach
Dad is going to increase his chores for the week. That'll teach him 😂Shedeur also not receiving a suspension for pushing a referee last Saturday. Going to be "handled internally by the CU program".
Coach gonna give him a stern talking to. Lol.
Bad decision. He blatantly and rather aggressively shoved the ref from behind. It wasn't a little bump you sometimes see when a referee tries to break up some extracurricular activities.
Playing both ways is fine when you're on a mid level p4 team surviving off the talent of a handful of guys. But you aren't out athleting Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson. First time he gets roasted at corner because he's tuckered out, they'll bail on that experiment.. if they ever get to it.![]()
Colorado's Travis Hunter wins 2024 Heisman Trophy in closest race since 2009
Hunter is the fifth non-QB to win the Heisman in the 2000s.sports.yahoo.com
QB heavy award goes to a WR/CB.
TH said on the Pivot Podcast that FSU was not going to let him play both ways. He wants to play both ways in the NFL.
Good kid who seems to have a very proper perspective and has his eyes on the prize.
Most kids don't even play both ways in high school anymore. He did it at an HBCU, then the Big 12 and won the Heisman. I get what you're saying, and it was proposed to him by Channing Crowder and Hunter said he wants to do it and isn't afraid of failure. Those conversations are going to happen leading up to the draft, but good for him for being willing to do it.Playing both ways is fine when you're on a mid level p4 team surviving off the talent of a handful of guys. Who knows. But Colorado just signed the 37th-ranked recruiting class in the country. (And 26th in the portal rankings for what they're worth). That's not going to win you a lot of playoff games. If that's even the goal here.Maybe this is the future of CFB recruiting in the modern NIL/porty era, who knows. It seems like Belichick is going this way too (he needs more time to spend with his child bride, er, I mean his girlfriend) Colorado coach Deion Sanders again made no recruiting trips: 'I'm not doing that'
Not gonna lie, I expected him to do the smart thing and bolt with his son out of the picture. I can't see how they're going to perform better unless they strike gold with a transfer QB, but the chance one is good as his son is unlikely. Plus they're losing Hunter, their other star. They weren't world beaters to begin with, and with a lack of team chemistry from bringing in all these NIL mercenaries? Next season feels like bad news for Sanders.Give him credit for still being at Colorado, surprised he hasn't taken off.

I mean, who knows. One saving grace is they play in the Big 12 and that entire conference feels like a year-to-year crapshoot. Last year they got better as the season went on, and narrowly missed the conference championship game. They must have some other good players? And looking at next year's schedule, they play most of their seemingly toughest opponents at home (BYU, Arizona State, Iowa State, Ga. Tech). Not gonna lie, I expected him to do the smart thing and bolt with his son out of the picture.
