He gets paid to do what most of us do here for free and do poorly.

Like the one year of little league somebody plays makes them an expert in baseball. Everyone thinks they can do that job.

I was really good on the o-line in pass pro in high school, therefore I am qualified to criticize any and all levels of pass protection.

I was trash as a run blocker, had to hope I could simply angle my body and seal the hole to win. This ALSO makes me qualified to criticize all levels of run blocking.

I watch a lot of "tape", and by that I mean a dude's sophomore highlights on HUDL. All 8 minutes of it.

I had concrete feet as a hockey defenseman, so I’m qualified to speak on how that trait negatively impacts all sports.

I have a strong feeling if it's not Deuce, it will be Baker or Ty Hawkins.

I do wonder if they will kick the tires on Akili Smith with Oregon taking the QB that I would have wanted (the Hawiiaan whose name I am not going to try to spell)

Highlight tape reminds me of Minchey. Pretty damn polished, above average arm, and can run. Deuce's upside? No, but IMO a better chance of being a very good college QB. Deuce's rise a prospect was solely a result of camp performances. His tape in actual games is up and down.

lol even if he enrolls it will always be a question whether he might leave. it's just the risk you take with kids from non traditional ND student backgrounds unfortunately and moreso in this NIL/transfer portal era.

Nope, most feel this way. I feel it's the general consensus around here and has been for a month. Writing has been on the wall. Auburn should be concerned about him sticking as well
