Saw Deadpool and Wolverine. Hands down the best Marvel movie ever and might have ruined all other Marvel movies going forward for me. Absolutely loved seeing Wolverine using his claws for something other than picking his teeth. Brutally gory and hilarious movie.

One Love.

Really enjoyed it and glad members of Bob Marley's family were involved.

Went to Reagan with my mom for her birthday today.

I enjoyed the movie. Older crowd in the theater. I'd guess my mom was among the youngest (58 today!) and I was definitely the youngest. At the end I could hear some of them crying.

I'm watching the '79 Polanski movie Tess with Nastassja Kinski. Really good so far and I'd forgotten how good looking she was back in the day. Great costumes & scenery, and Polanski does a great job directing.

Just watched "Rebel Ridge" on Netflix. Intense and very good. Acting was good also. Receiving positive reviews. Check it out if you get a chance.

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Pt 1: Sooo long. Like Endgame long. I'm in love with Hayley Atwell. If you like all the other MI movies you'll like it too, probably.

Deadpool & Wolverine: Dumb fun fan service. Not really a fan of the villain and the TVA shit is played out. Fun cameos. Far from the best MCU movie.

Pearl: if you're into southern belles murdering people this is for you

Michael Douglas was incredible in this movie. Will never forget the highway scene(s) at the beginning and the fast food restaurant lunch scene. Powerful movie and superb individual performance.
He says it's his favorite part he's ever played.

This movie was not only ahead of its time, it still stands up.

I had a couple of similar "breakfast experiences" except it was about 10 minutes before they were supposed to stop and I didn't pull a gun. lol

Falling Down is timeless. It takes guts to take on this role and Douglas pulled it off flawlessly. Every moment and scene in this film is near perfection. The movie is gripping from start to finish and hits home hard and unforgettably.

Watched Anatomy of a Murder last night. Great movie with Jimmy Stewart, George C Scott and Lee Remick. The subtleness of some scenes is great.

Never seen it. Will check it out when time allows
The idea that it is already 31 years old blows my mind. What's crazier is that it still really does hold up. I ordered the blu ray on Amazon so I have my own copy.

There are lines in this movie that are forever quotable too. Robert Duvall is good as well, but Michael Douglas is absolutely brilliant. In every single scene.

Duvall is a fantastic actor in his own right. He's in a lot of great movies including The Godfather series. His chemistry and interaction with Douglas' character in Falling Down is great.

Speaking of Duvall

Seeing Megalopolis
I know its going to be a strange, weird atypical movie that might not even be 'good', but that's what I like about Coppola, he plays by his own rules and I'll support that.

If you’re looking for a movie to put on with some laughs and a nostalgic twist, I watched “Everybody Wants Some” after football was pretty much over tonight. Got to it bc we watched Twisters the other day and Glen Powell is in this one too—but it’s from 2016. Pretty solid. Same director as Dazed & Confused. Not on the level of D&C, but entertaining. If you played sports or were in a fraternity in college, you’d probably vibe with it.

Second this. If you're only familiar with Bogart as the tough guy wiseacre, his performance here as a paranoid head case is a revelation.
