They needed Hunter for 120 snaps to beat a FCS team at home.
This is a good point, however I would say that NDSU is FCS in name only at this point. There undoubtedly P5 and G5 programs they have better infrastructure than in comparison.

To your point, though, it doesn't bode well for CU that they had a dogfight in that game and showed many of the same issues in it that plagued them last year.

NDSU is a solid team, without question.

It doesn't bode well for Hunter. In an era where late-round draft picks are skipping major bowl games, it's mind-boggling that a top 10 talent is gearing up to play 100+ snaps every Saturday for the whole season. The liklihood of injury drastically increases as he fatigues in game and over the course of the season. He's playing with fire.

Without question. Important to note he missed time last year when he took that shot in the CSU game.

I watched the first half of the Nebraska Colorado game. The Cornhuskers just ate them up. Rhule seems to have them back on track.

The Nebraska season ticket holder that works for me said Saturday night was the loudest he’s ever heard that stadium.

That’s gonna happen every game, everyone who plays Colorado has that game circled including fans. The price Prime time has to pay for the circus he created

Same two teams with the same two coaches played last year…

Nebraska might end up being bad, and CU just worse.

But my hot take is that you’re seeing what a dude that actually has experience building a program can do in year two, vs. what a dude that is only interested in his quarterback putting up numbers can do.

Deion doesn’t want to recruit and won’t make off-campus visits. That’s fine, I guess, as long as you’re a good enough steward to the entirety of the program. But the reality is that he doesn’t care enough about building the program to put in the effort, because he’s gone in a year to “advise” whatever team drafts Shedeur.

Interesting you said that. Every time the camera went to him on the sidelines it looked to me that he didn't seem too interested or involved. Maybe the second half was different?

Guess we'll see what Nebraska does in Columbus next month. Talk about a favorable schedule.....

Colorado is cooked. This experiment is likely to end after the season.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how the predraft process shakes out for Shedeur Sanders compared to Caleb Williams six months ago.

For all the questions asked about Caleb, you could ask two about Sanders while headed into this process.

He isn't a football coach. He's an agent with creative control over the team to best showcase his clients (his sons and Travis Hunter).

Colorado may never recover from this. They will be building a new team from scratch next year.

Yup. Deion's refusal to do any high school recruiting means they'll be relying on mediocre transfers from the portal for years.

If the PAC-2 expands with some of those MWC teams as is being reported, NDSU should make the jump to fill the void in the Mountain West

Bye week and then two really big games coming up. KSU and Arizona.

I doubt many would have had CU 4-1 at this point.

Travis Hunter is a Heisman finalist, and the offense is starting to figure it out. Sanders is good enough to win games when the line works. They're pretty good.

Interesting ESPN has them favored in the rest of their games outside of KSU, not that it means much. I imagine they struggle with KSU, Arizona, and maybes the Utes depending on which Utah shows up.
