Yeah. And I read Sampson's (very smart and thorough) story about the design and how vertical it is, which makes it sound louder than larger bowls like Michigan and Penn State. I get that.
I'm just a little tired of hearing how we're going to lose this game because the place is just so loud and crazy. It's not like our guys have never played in hostile environments before.

I haven’t been to Kyle field but Penn state is loudest I’ve been to (night whiteout) and I’ve been to any other competing stadium but Kyle and LSU… Kirk h has stated psu is loudest he’s been to

LSU at night is probably the most raucous I’ve been to……..the Cajuns know how to party and absolutely cut loose after a day of lubrication.

So I feel like I need to change my subscriptions because I haven’t really gotten any recruiting intel in a long time it feels like. I have IB and II but since Ryan left it’s been extremely basic. Don’t think they really replaced him. After Loy moved on II has had nothing also. Are ISD or On3 (dare I say it) better options now?

Yeah I think On3 has the best ND recruiting coverage right now. Singer doesn’t jump the gun on recruits like Loy does.

I’d say On3. Between Kelly and Singer, they put a lot of content and the “fluff” is kept minimal. They also don’t encourage a hype train.

I think they have a deal going on right now. You may want to look into it.

I would never give my money to on3.

ISD is probably the best currently in my opinion. They don’t really put stuff out for just click bait unlike Loy. However, I would say recruiting info has really dried up since ol’ Tommy boy left the coaching staff

Irish Illustrated used to be the best but after Loy went national the recruiting Intel has taken a total nosedive. I still do like their podcasts for the most part. IB's podcasts are brutal and The Independent would be ok if Fortuna wasn't on there. Last week he couldn't pronounce Faison. However, to me the best podcast is Locked On. He puts out daily content and overall does a pretty good job.

Love II's podcasts, bringing on John Brice is such a breath of fresh air.

Brice has this irritating habit of repeating himself on multiple podcasts, particularly if he has some nugget of intel he will rehash it so much you know what hes about to say straight away

They all do that. Sampson says the same things on II and the Independent. I think they prep their articles and talking points for the week and stick to them.

The II podcast is still my number 1 go to for Irish podcasts, but I actually don't like the addition of JB. To me, it has messed up the chemistry. Four people is just too many.

I really enjoyed the two man pods JB and Tim O did over the summer. That was good stuff. I would love for them to find a way to do more of that in season and take the main pod back to just Tim x 2 and Pete.

4 guys is a lot, but I do love the addition of JB to their staff. He's probably their most connected staff member.

Prister, O'Malley, and Brice are keeping II afloat, because the recruiting side of that website is embarrassingly bad.

Now that I think about it, I can't think of one thing II provides that is worth paying money for a membership. Their best thing, the podcast, is free.

I agree that he is a good addition to the II team. I would just like to hear from him in a different environment than the main podcast.
