You hearing way too many firework pops and booms outside right now too? It’s just a joke
Roberts said his confidence level is up to 7/10 here. Said ND is the leader and Michigan is running in 2nd. Potentially could move his commitment date up to sometime this summer.
0/2 at LB and 3/3 at WR. I have full faith and confidence in Freeman and his program to be able to find quality LB recruits. WR is a position that we desperately need both quality and numbers, being able to add Robinson/Meadows/Hines to go with Burress and Bettis jr. would've been a 3rd straight year of adding both to the room. Here's an interesting question. Would you rather go 2/2 on Faraimo and NOB at LB and 0/3 on Meadows/Hines/Robinson at WR? Or 0/2 at LB and get all 3 WR's?
2/2 on LB. If the passing game shows any sort of pulse they’ll get receiversHere's an interesting question. Would you rather go 2/2 on Faraimo and NOB at LB and 0/3 on Meadows/Hines/Robinson at WR? Or 0/2 at LB and get all 3 WR's?
I agree. They could easily get Elic Ayomanor and 1-2 Kris Mitchell types in the December window of the portal. It's much easier to get quality WR's in the portal and quality LB's.2/2 on LB. The stream of quality QBs that are about to come through ND helps make this decision in two ways:
1. After the year RL has in 2024, WR will want to come to ND and play for Denbrock.
2. ND won't have to spend as much $$ on transfer QBs and that will leave more for WR (and DL too).
All 3 WRs, but it's close. Here's an interesting question. Would you rather go 2/2 on Faraimo and NOB at LB and 0/3 on Meadows/Hines/Robinson at WR? Or 0/2 at LB and get all 3 WR's?
Yes vs every team that doesn't have a good/great defense. When you face a good/great defense you need studs on the outside that ND hasn't had. Look at how bad our offense was last year vs the 4 good defenses we played vs the other 9 games. That's with an NFL QB, RB, top 5 pick LT and 2nd round RT.Give me all the studs on defense and always have a top flight defense. Offense is so much easier to manufacture and scheme guys open
It wouldn't shock me if Kris Mitchell has less than 500 yds this year. He's far from a Keon Coleman and Coleman had less than 700 yds last year with less depth at WR.I agree. They could easily get Elic Ayomanor and 1-2 Kris Mitchell types in the December window of the portal. It's much easier to get quality WR's in the portal and quality LB's.
But had a 8th grader at OC.Yes vs every team that doesn't have a good/great defense. When you face a good/great defense you need studs on the outside that ND hasn't had. Definitely part of it.But had a 8th grader at OC.
There’s always one thing we can count on as members of the ND fanbase!I am not counting on anything to happen anymore.

Well the only answer is WR thanks to us having a D level grade at the moment at that position. LB has been solid so far and very good last year. We need all the bodies w/skill at WR possible at the moment. Here's an interesting question. Would you rather go 2/2 on Faraimo and NOB at LB and 0/3 on Meadows/Hines/Robinson at WR? Or 0/2 at LB and get all 3 WR's?
3/3 on WR, imo the lack of WR/playmakers on offense was what separated ND from clemson in ‘18 and bama in ‘20 in the playoff gamesHere's an interesting question. Would you rather go 2/2 on Faraimo and NOB at LB and 0/3 on Meadows/Hines/Robinson at WR? Or 0/2 at LB and get all 3 WR's?
ya that’s fair. but i don’t like the idea of counting on the portal every year. portal WRs usually are pretty mid unless they are the underclassmen types that ND doesn’t really go after/getFunny thing is I don't really consider any of the WRs truly game changers. Meadows is a huge projection guy. We are literally deciding between B level receivers or A level linebackers.
Not if your name is Gerard ParkerOffense is so much easier to manufacture and scheme guys open
The stats from last year's offense says otherwise. And that was with a soft IOL and WRs and TE with unproven production going into the season. Not if your name is Gerard Parker

Yep, at WR and DB3/3 on WR, imo the lack of WR/playmakers on offense was what separated ND from clemson in ‘18 and bama in ‘20 in the playoff games
