Pains me to say that the job Harbaughs staff did developing a bunch of low 4 star / high 3 star guys into NFL talent was pretty amazing. Not like their roster was filled with UGA / BAMA / OSU level recruits.

Whatever. Sam is what he is. He'll hang around the league awhile as a 3rd string/practice squad QB and then go on to be very successful in life.

So are we through the days where ND players are highly "overrated" and have big drops in the draft?

It's certainly interesting/notable that Fisher and Liufau both went relatively high while other guys who were, frankly, better football players at Notre Dame either fell to day three or stayed another year in school. The NFL loves those physical traits.
