For the Falcons I love the idea of drafting the guy behind the current guy and giving the rookie time to develop. However, just no need to draft Penix that high. Trade down and get him later.

thats because he's barely 21 years old. other OL's in the draft are a couple years older. Alt is the best bet in this class to make the HOF.

Exactly. They could have been drafting an immediate impact player to help Cousins win games.
Could be worse. Could have decided JJ McCarthy is your future. Everybody trying to find the next Tom Brady but Michigan isn’t the key component to making that happen.

Raiders draft another TE high after picking up Mayer last year, and they don't use their TEs

I’ve noticed his slurring since the COVID draft.
In fairness, I think everyone was drunk during those first 3 months, but yeah.
Last year he was rough too.

Yeah it detracts from the message on some of these people with the sad stories. Also it’s great outreach for the NFL but also like i tune in for the draft maybe not to be forced into my feels
