I don’t think we need to play in other countries elections, but the Obama folks had a goal in mind.

If nothing else, the NATO alliance has found a way to destroy a big chunk of the Russian army without putting our troops in harms way and giving Ukraine a fighting chance at defending themselves. The Russian Army is weaker today than a year and a half ago. That hurts the Russia-China alliance. Sitting back like pacifists doesn’t do anything.
