Honestly, my biggest fear is recycled Madden shit being used to sell a decent-but-lacking dynasty mode, that way they can slooooowly pivot to NCAA ultimate team.

And I honestly don’t even mind that… collecting different, historical versions of college legends would be awesome. But not if it’s the expense of dynasty!

However, their teaser has me cautiously optimistic that they are ACTUALLY taking the multitude of NCAA fans seriously that have longed for single-player dynasty mode. The focus on getting the details right, and making each school’s atmosphere unique and realistic, is a good move for building good will…. As was adding some of the College Football Revamped guys to their EA staff.

If they were paying enough attention to not only avoid going after the CFB Revamped mods, but to see their initiative as a positive for the future of CFB video games, then maybe some folks at EA really do just want a good CFB game out there again, microtransactions be damned.

I'm not worried about that stuff at all. At least not for several years. I'm expecting single player dynasty mode to be very, very good and extremely fun.

Using the same engine as Madden is worrisome, though. Gameplay potentially could be a big yikes even with a college playbook. But like I said, the issues with EA severs have rendered many of their games unplayable at times. I'm expecting a lot of "I was kicked off the server!", "I played for 4 hours straight and it didn't save my progress!", and "My game file is corrupted what do I do!" problems for a while once the game launches.

I got every single NCAA Football game since the Joey Harrington edition (NCAA Football 2003), and I had NCAA Football 99 as well. My biggest gripe when you look through the history of the franchise, is that things that were in the ps2 version, were completely STRIPPED out of the ps3 version, and we STILL couldn't get full rosters.

That is probably my biggest wish. 85 man rosters. There should be no reason with how powerful current consoles are that we can't have that.

Actually just my day job, a higher up for major Health care company. And partner in new venture (probaby fail, most do). And own 3 homes, smallest of which is a 2,100 foot single family on a culdesac. And 3 kids and a smoking hot wife.

You have to multitask when life is this full ;). But yeah, I didn't see the date difference but there must be one. Cool
