I agree with some of the opinions in various articles that Larsen is a good compliment to follow Flanagan, Staes, and Raridon. Even if he stays “undersized” by modern TE standards there’s a art to getting open, route running and working in the middle of the field and Larsen has it. I don’t find any of them 4 to be too similar, which is a good thing.

Larsen swallows the football with his hands. While he’s more wide receiver playing tight end on the prep level, he’s a willing in-line blocker with a quality use of hands and footwork. He’ll need to tighten up his pass routes.

So he’s not going to be a big TE. He gets downfield and grabs everything in sight . Plenty of ways to use a guy like that.

Larsen's and Charlottle Catholic's regular season wrapped up this past Friday. His highlights are out.



Nothing exceptionally impressive, but he's a solid athlete that can run good routes and has some quality hands. Willingness of a blocker is always a nice touch to see. Looks to be someone that can attack the intermediate, middle of the field routes. The issue of length considering he's not the greatest athlete could lead to separation issues, but if he can master his routes and foot speed coming out of breaks, his ability will translate to the next-level.

I don't think you'll see a more complete tape from a high school tight end. He does it all in that tape.

I was impressed with his blocking and there were some awesome catches in there.
There were a lot of people saying he had an impressive senior season after a less then expected junior one.

He’s a good football player, my concern is how much room for growth/potential he has.

I really don't see how you come up with that evaluation after watching the tape but to each his own.

I think he runs one of the nastier stick nods from TE that I've seen from a high school kid

I’m not an expert, but I don’t see amazing athleticism. I worry about him putting on weight and getting slower. He clearly catches the ball very well. Our recent smaller tight ends really haven’t done much career wise
