You wouldn't love to have Zak Zinter? Obviously he's getting drafted after this year, but I'd love him on the roster
will he know what the opposing defense is doing, or is he relying on his wit and cunning to protect him?

I mean I'd just love to have another All American guard
Sure, me too. Maybe a guy that didn't know what was coming....because Zinter did. How All American is he in the first place?

I get that the first inclination with things like this is to go into poach mode. I really haven't given any thought into Notre Dame benefitting from raiding this Michigan roster full of twats that were probably well aware of what their coaches were doing.

As much as I hate Michigan and really want some hard punishment coming down for this. Unfortunately, I don't think we're that lucky. Mich will get off w/ a light slap on the wrist b/c they’re a massive money making machine and the NCAA has a history of not doing sh!t to their cash cow programs.

Agree. Lot of noise and very little fire to come from it. The character of their coaches are beyond pitiful. The fact that anyone would want that DC back knowing that he is taking part in it is disgusting.

The daily Bible verse I have sent to my email seems appropriate today: ''Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, Who sees us? Who will know?''

The bare minimum here is that they will be vacating 2 full seasons of wins. Most likely, there will be either a postseason ban or show-cause penalty for the involved coaches. The only issue is that the NCAA lacks subpoena power, so they will need evidence + snitches.
Which I want to remind people, if you think any bit of that would be harsh, remember that ND had 4 kids cheat on a test, found out years after the fact, told on themselves, and then had to vacate all their wins from 2012-2013.

So is the NCAA even looking into this?

They don't do that much anymore, tho. As much as we'd love for Michigan to get hammered, I imagine they get nothing more than a fine for the school and coach suspensions.

Some rumblings on the edges of Twitter that the investigation was actually kicked off by Vegas noting gambling irregularities on UM games.
Here is a comparison of UM performance against the spread in conference versus non-conference games from 2015-2020 and then from 2021 to now.

2015-2020

Conference Games - 24-25-1 (48.98%)

Non-Conference - 8-13-0 (38.10%)

2021-Now

Conference Games - 18-5-2 (78.26%)

Non-Conference - 5-6-0 (45.45%)

I bolded the conference games performance against the spread, because it is the outlier and strong circumstantial evidence. I won't speculate, because there is already enough of that, but if anyone affiliated with UM was using this information to gamble, they will have more than the NCAA to contend with.

Prime, now the "advocate" of football since he had his one upset during this year says ... “In football, it’s (sign-stealing) not as pronounced as baseball. If I know a curveball is coming, I got you. With football, I don’t give a darn if you know a sweep is coming. You still got to stop it."" What a dumbfuck! IF I know what's coming, regardless, it's easier to prepare for it! WTF!!!!

If reports are true that schools are pissed with UM inside the Big10, what’s stopping them from saying bye to UM? Vote them out. It will never happen…. but I like saying it.

Stalions bought tickets to Tennessee, Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia as well.

Also, here is a screen grab indicating that the Big 10 might act separately from the NCAA. From the most recent ESPN story:

A source told ESPN on Tuesday that the NCAA has been sent at least an hour of video evidence that shows a person sitting in a seat appearing to video the home sideline with a smartphone. Stalions purchased the ticket for that seat. The video is expected to be used as part of the investigation to show that electronics were used in the signal-stealing ring, according to sources.

I still have zero faith that anyone but Stalions is gonna take any meaningful punishment for this.

It would be the greatest schadenfreude if scUM got hit with LOIC, but there’s no way Harbaugh allowed himself to be on any record or paper trail for this.

Stalions will get a show cause that makes him untouchable (not that anyone would want him, or that he would want to be a football Navy Seal anywhere else anyway), and scUM will lose some off-field assistant positions for a few years (which the NCAA can’t really monitor). They might even lose some off-campus recruiting periods.

But as long as scUM doesn’t cooperate, they’ll survive whatever evidence the other schools throw out, and it’ll drag out in whatever court there is as a battle that they were just “taking scouting a bit further than other programs do, at the direction of a rogue analyst that was using illegal and non-scUM-approved methods,” and the NCAA will make up some even-more stringent scouting rules that don’t actually mean anything.
