Assuming Brohm and co will try to neutralize Evans after back to back huge weeks, so I'm excited to see if Staes and/or Raridon can step up and have a big game.

Louisville is crazy cocky for a team that has effectively played no one and is reliant on two decent skill players to produce offense. Plummer is who he is, and it's not an NFL QB. Their speedy receiver is not Marvin Harrison. Their RB is not better than who players go up against in practice during camp. They lack NFL talent on both sides of the ball besides a handful of guys. They could not run the ball at all on NC State. They are a couple plays away from being 2-3. They had one score games against Georgia Tech (bad), NCST (ok), and Indiana (bad)... they trailed in two of those games, and in the other they needed a goal line stand to win.

Hard to see Louisville getting over 30 and hard to see ND under 30 unless ACC refs turn the game rigging up to 12 (Duke was an 11 out of 10... unreal what that clown in the booth did to try to influence the game). It's college football so anything is possible, but Louisville just does not match up well with a healthy ND. They are going to have to pray that ND is mentally and physically exhausted because a "dialed in" ND is going to jump on them early and not look back.

Agree with all of this but they are well coached, not duke well coached, but enough where we have to show up and play better. I think the offense needs a good game to build confidence before usc

That’s the sole thing that concerns me. Just how much does ND have left in the tank after Ohio State and Duke? That said, they’re college kids, and an undefeated Louisville coupled with a night game is oddly comforting. That alone should garner ND’s attention and keep them from looking ahead to the following Saturday.

Right. The one good thing about this being the 3rd prime time game in a row, is that hopefully the players have a routine down (that should help next week as well). Normalcy is good. Use the science (GPS, etc) to ensure the right players are getting enough rest throughout the week. Hype up UL as much as possible b/c, as you said; these are college kids & I don’t think being adults even helps them get up four games in a row like this. Most fans underestimate this and look at the two teams on paper. You have to factor in how many miles they have on their bodies, who’s hitting a wall?, travel, who’s under the weather (cold, sinus infection, flu)?, last minute muscle pulls/strains, the list goes on. Yet fans just look at each team’s record, their roster & don’t factor any of that into the outcome. If it were only that easy.

I got ND team over (30.5) and final score ND 35-17. Louisville can't stop the run and Plummer will throw some picks.

Also, I'm not worried about the hangover/cumulative fatigue so much in this game. Louisville is a finesse team and they're gonna get bullied.

One thing I think that helps is Game day isn’t there. All those extra’s and attention aren’t a constant reminder and what not.

After back to back weeks of going against good defenses, I think the offense is ready to prove something and make a statement. ND is too good and too deep compared to UL. Parker will better utilize his play makers. Those players will execute better. And the defense will continue to suffocate opposing offenses.

If I'm not mistaken, CFB players can rescind their commitment to play in the NFL draft by withdrawing his name from consideration before the deadline (mid-January timeframe). However, once a player has been drafted, he cannot rescind his commitment to play in the NFL. If so, Williams may not know for certain who would draft him… someone could trade up before the draft pick.

I hope to see Oline, WR, and Parker play/call offensively better. Louisville dline as a whole isn't as good as duke & OSU, we should be much healthier on offense, and parker has to learn from duke that good defenses can stop something if you let them.

On D, i'd like to see better adjustments to counter other teams adjustments. Also, need to see better play out of harper/nickel spot. We're making it wayyy to easy to complete passes over the middle to slot WRs at times, especially when we blitz lbs.

You’re 100% correct. As long as ND isn’t sleep walking and beats themselves, there is no “real football reason” for why UL matches up well against ND. Human nature can be funny sometimes.

I was there for the 2019 game. It’s just one game, but I wasn’t overly impressed. I would expect lot of ND fans tomorrow. It’s a 4 hour drive, straight shot south from South Bend.
