In the big scheme it doesn’t matter but heard a good idea on the uniforms for this weekend. Of course, they announced the look in the preseason which was cool. One drawback is it gives the opponent the expectation so they know ND is doing something special for the game. It also takes away the “surprise” factor that gets the fans so pumped. The idea I heard was for them to come out in warmups w/ green jersey & gold (or white) pants. Then when they went back into the locker room they could change into green pants and maybe get an extra boost of excitement from the fans. Yes, I know they shouldn’t need a boost of excitement for a game like this but thought it was an interesting idea.

this would never been done again in an age where schools/sportswear companies can make sure much money off merchandise. Its sad really

Lou did that against USC. Team warmed up in blue and when they got back to the locker room green jerseys were hanging in their lockers. The team didn't even know they were switching until then. Crowd went bonkers when they came out of the tunnel.

Game will come down to turnovers...if ND protects the ball like they have been they win fairly easily...if not we likely lose a close but competitive game.

A first year DC, on the road, against CJ Stroud held them to 21 last year. It’s not likely, but it’s not completely out of the question.

This is where I am at. We also have not won a non-rivalry big game in God knows how long. Clemson with an asterisk, unfortunately. So, while i think we can do it, need to prove that we can.

Mr. Turtle, while I could easily tell you how wrong you are about your first point, you will see that for yourself on Saturday Night.

On the second point. This is simply not true if you are basing it off the 247 composite rankings. Notre Dame, again, per the 247 composite rankings, has higher ranked offensive line, runningbacks, tight ends. Ohio State has the higher ranked QB, but I will take Hartman over McCord everyday. OSU has the significant edge at receiver and it isn't close. OSU has the slight edge in overall talent all over defense.

They have a better roster. Calling it significantly better is objectively and subjectively incorrect unless you are only looking at receiver.

Doesn't really matter. There are no asterisks unless a game gets vacated (Which is still stupid after the fact, the game was still played). There will always be players injured, or sick, or other factors that affect games. Nobody will remember what the circumstances were when they look back 10 or 20 years from now. Either one team found a way to win, or they did not. That's all that matters at the end of the day.

I’ve been complaining about those dumb ass dedications for YEARS! No one gives a shit. Put it in the program or something. It’s just an excuse for everyone in the stadium to pull their phones out and check out. They should be blasting Mo Bamba or Niggas in Paris or something so people come back from the break fired up. Where Trevor sat, they exacted their revenge later that year... We obviously put a beat down on them last year. Again, this game feels like a massive one where we have come up short in the past. I am not being negative, i think we can win. But we are going to need to play sound on all levels. I view this game, like many prior to this one, as a possible spring board moment. We have the right Coach in place to attract talent (clearly with yesterday's news).. now it is about proving it to the recruits that can be transformative for years to come.

Their Dline is having an early season like ours, stats aren't there for it.

I thought baptiste was a little better than sawyer at OSU, and i think he's playing better than him now as well. Agree on the other two though. This is a big game for both dlines to show what they got. I've been very high on Mills and think he's been restricted a bit by Washington and or Bolden scheme, if he doesn't have a good impact this game i'll be disappointed. Would like to see more Onye though.

OSU Oline is a little green at this level at the tackles and center position, but good experience at guard. Opposite of ND. I hope we can take advantage of a young center and some inexperienced tackles.
