Younglings. To avoid saying 'killed all the children'.

Such a horrible trilogy. It's so bad, it's hilarious. I encourage everyone to drink a couple of beers and watch the Redletter media Mr. Plinkett review of the prequels. It might be the funniest thing I've ever scene.
The Plinkett reviews were better than the actual trilogy. The red letter media Phantom Menace review in particular should be preserved and treasured.

Yeah, the later Plinkett reviews didn't quite live up to the original, but that Phantom Menace break down...

I just started Asoka. Should I wait and go through all of Rebels first before continuing on?

I would recommend it, Rebels starts off very kid friendly similar to Clone Wars before turning fairly dark for a kid show.

I don’t follow the cartoons, so I’m a pretty lost with Asoka. Don’t know what to make of it, doesn’t feel like Star Wars, really, some derivative content.

If you watched the animated series then Ashoka would feel like great Star Wars content

So I have to watch 70 episodes of a cartoon to understand the latest Disney crap?
This show was specifically made to continue the story of "the cartoon". All the other shows don't tie in nearly as much as to the animated series as this one. But this is a full tie in. So either watch it or just ignore it.

Star Wars experts.... HELP!

Is there a Youtube Channel / Website that I could go to and get a tutorial on how to watch (what sequence) ALL of the shows? Hopefully one that has a Cliffs Notes on the cartoon content that I need to know to fill in the gaps? I can't watch all the cartoons.

Help a brother out. I REALLY like Ashoka but I know there's so much I don't know about her and teenage Vader.... (THAT was wild!)

New Rockstars - it looks like they have a playlist that goes season-by-season, focusing on what you need to know for the Ahsoka show.

I’ll say this…. If you don’t want to watch all the cartoons you can skip many of the episodes in Clone wars that could be considered filler but really it’s world building and you miss a lot of small details that carry through the whole series. Most importantly. Is Anakin and Ashoka growing up together and what happens after she leaves the order and Anakins fall. Hiuuuuuge.

Rebels is the same… some episodes are filler but most of it is important to what they are doing with the universe. There are large chunks of Rebels with Ashoka and Vader, Ezra and Darth Maul and further explanation of the Force and what it is. Also you will miss getting to know the other characters. I love Hera and Ezra who is going to be very important moving forward and also Thrawn.

I’d suggest watching them but if you have to skip, focus on the episodes with Ashoka and Anakin and Ezra/Mail and Ashoka/Vader

So I finished Ashoka and I’m pretty excited at what i think may be happening. They are definitely about to go deep with the Mortis Gods and tie the Clone wars Series, Rebels together with the chosen one prophecy. It’s all there and set up. I hate it for people who haven’t caught up with the animated series though.

Also not sure what they do with Baylon now that Ray Stephens died.

I really like the way they ended it. Overall, they did great with this series.
