Been watching Justified City Primeval. Not bad but not quite on par with Justified. May take another stroll through it again.
thanks #1. I am about complete of my rewatch of Justified and have high hopes, although reboots typically dont hit the mark.

Started watching Ballers on Netflix. It's okay, but not a must see unless you like to see a lot and I mean a lot of naked hotties. Wait, what am I saying? Yes, it's must see! lol
When it first came out, I couldn't help but think they were trying to recreate Entourage. A good couple of seasons but ends up trailing off

Finished Justified: Primeval. The last episode was pretty good with our friend Boyd Crowder making an appearance. And a big surprise at the end.

Winning Time has picked up steam the last couple episodes. Adrian Brody and John C Reilly carry the show with their performances.

The Exorcist: Believer - Trailer

I just ran across this. I had no idea that they were making a sequel to The Exorcist. It looks like they're incorporating much of the original story (Tubular Bells, Mentioning of Regan and Ellen Burstyn appears as Chris MacNeil). The original was such a great movie - an all time classic. The book was even that much better. Both really left me pondering big picture themes. In regard to the sequel, it's tough to get a feel merely from a two-minute trailer, but it looks promising. I just hope it isn't loaded with generic, CGI and "jump scenes" instead of a great story that slowly incorporates fear, as in the original. I felt that the disturbing or uncomfortable scenes of the original were the dialog and the demon/Pazuzu simply mocking and playing "cat and mouse" with Fr. Karrass and Fr. Merrin, as opposed to the head spinning and crucifix scenes. I just hope the sequel isn't over-the-top with the latter.

At minimum, it should make for a fun watch in October, though.

This movie had everyone talking when it came out. Tubular Bells was the perfect music for it. The big question: When Father Karras went out the window, was it the devil causing him to jump, or was it Father Karras giving himself up to rid them of the devil?

Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones……..nothing earth shattering but just reinforces why the people in America have poor overall health and how the medical system is just reinforcing it.

Sidebar: didn’t the actor who played Father Karras end up playing Ara Parseghian in “Rudy”?

So Justified: City Primeval sucks ass. If you were a fan of Raylan Givens in the original series, get ready to be let down. They absolutely neutered him. He has no chemistry with anyone else in the show. He's not fun anymore. In fact the show isn't fun to watch unlike the original series. It's a chore to watch. Raylan and his relationship with Harlan, KY were a big part of the original series, but he has no ties to Detroit and you feel it in this show. It could have been any generic big city and it feels empty. The side characters are mostly unlikeable, especially the one closest to Raylan. There are several side stories that go absolutely nowhere. The villain is just bad for the sake of being bad. Nothing is explored about his character at all, whereas we knew everything about Boyd previously. Hell we even rooted for Boyd. Then there is the ending after the ending. It's stupid and just ruins what a perfect ending Justified had. Anyway, that's all I've got for today. Go away now.

Started watching Spy Ops on Netflix. It's a series that provides background on some of the major military events. E1 was about 911 Afghanistan. E2 about Noriega and Panama. A lot of info from those that were the boots on the ground. I give it 3 1/2 stars so far.

Finished Winning Time on HBO. It was nothing if not entertaining. I do want to read Jeff Pearlman's book now having watched this.

Keeping up with the second season of Wrexham.

Season 3 of The Morning Show has been pretty good so far. The cast is so good. Jennifer Aniston convincing Jon Hamm to do this season worked out so well.

Started One Shot: Overtime Elite on Amazon Prime. Interesting stuff.

I just learned today about Masters Of The Air, which is being described as Band Of Brothers with planes. It's about the air war in Europe during WWII. It is produced by Hanks & Spielberg just like Band Of Brothers and The Pacific. This is going to be GREAT! Supposed to drop in late January. I can't wait!

I've finally got around to watching the Bear. Really enjoying it thus far.
How far are you? I love the main character but every episode through season 1 is just them screaming at each other in the kitchen, acting like the world is about to end. It'd good acting but I was hoping for more side plots. Also, love Ritchie even though he's a dirtbag. Could see him having a good character arc.

Lupin on Netflix. He would make a decent James Bond. But I think they want to make James Bond or the next 'Bond" to be a woman....which would be about as successful as War Daddy as a P5 OC.....
