So fascinating to see one side so adamant that the Government is hiding everything and can't be trusted while the other scoffs and marginalizes the evidence on UFOs while they take polar opposite positions on Covid vaccines and election fraud.
Nah the hearing was very bipartisan. Can't say the same for any other topic in Congress

My avatar name keeps coming up here forcing me to say something about topics often irrelevant or historically or philosophically wrong.

A. I am a very serious Catholic. I have a FIRM belief in GOD and that is entirely a separate issue from UFO research.
No one is well-served mixing them together in any debate, and certainly not Truth.

B. I don't care "where they are from." That is entirely a different research question than the one I research. The question I research is: "Is there evidence that supports the assertion that advanced aerotechnology beyond our current abilities to create is observed in our airspace?" To which I assert a resounding Yes, as indicated by several thousand sightings by credible observers, many of which are radar assisted, multiply witnessed, and very close to the observers. And, though it need not be required, I can quote MANY military and intelligence personnel and historical documents which agree with me.

C. The assertion that "something is untrue because it is impossible" is throughout the entirety of the history of science the dumbest and most arrogant assertion even a scientist can make. It is not only usually wrong, it is precisely the opposite of the Scientific Method and consists of the Cardinal Sin of Science --- the absolute a priori assumption. (Because we have unusually arrogant know-it-alls here on IE who refuse to trust anything but their own restricted information, I am forced also to "arrogantly" counter with the facts that I have advanced degrees in both the History of Science and Technology and the History and Philosophy of Science. If that convinces anyone on here to pipe down even a little on their historically wrong opinions, my braggadocio might be forgivable.)

I cannot convince anyone here on how distasteful these sorts of arguments are. They are fundamentally prideful, error-ridden, uncivil, and bordering on juvenile mockery. I have tried to bring the finest information on the subject, gained from my privileged ability to talk to the world's best analysts (including those who first analyzed the Nimitz films) and I get profoundly ignorant crap from some ____ (censored) in appreciative return. You (Bishop et al) win!! I am going to try very hard to never bother your ignorant arrogant heads again.

The comment about my research field being as irrelevant as pursuing Bigfoot and Nessie was a blatant slap in my face. The time for civilly smiling while being directly insulted by ignorant assholes is past. I assume that you would not do that either if you were treated that way.
I haven't criticized your research, Mike. In fact, I've said more than once that it's important and necessary. What I've criticized are your claims stemming from your research and the lack of any solid, unambiguous, irrefutable, tangible evidence to back them up. Bad video, easily faked video, mysterious unexplained lights & other phenomena, and the most unreliable evidence of all - eyewitness claims with no corroborating evidence - are no more convincing than claims about Bigfoot and Nessie. Don't get mad at me for not being convinced. Provide some actual proof.

Your opinion is fine but you clearly are ignoring radar, Astronaut testimony, high Ranking military testimony. Going back 75 years. The initial Roswell report from the USAF was that they did recover a craft and bodies, then it caused panic from the Holy Rollers and Government itself. Then they called it weather balloons.

You're the type that needs a landing in your yard

BTW Grusch's claims are as classified as it gets. So it only stays at the top of the food chain. It can't all be released due to clearances.

Philip Corso high ranking Intelligence officer under multiple Presidencies stated years ago that the retrievals went to Private industry.

Guessing you think Columbus was the first person to discover America.

For those of you looking for hard and fast answers from the Government.

What is clear is they believe there is plenty of credible witness testimony and data from military to investigate.

BTW they have been investigating since the close of Project Blue Book in 1969.

If there wasn't anything to it, why would the still investigate after all these years?

Thank god these aliens only visit the United States. Otherwise us intelligence would have to be in cahoots with every other government on the planet to keep this all under wraps.

I think it’s far more likely UFO talking points are pushed when government agencies want us looking in the other direction. Would take substantially less effort and serve an logical goal.

I find this to be a valid and logical stance. The good ole USA covers less than 2% of the Earth's surface - are we so egocentric that we think all that is to be discovered is happening on our small piece of the globe? I can disagree and point to piles of evidence elsewhere but your point is valid, IMO. That does not mean disqualifying though.

Other direction? I think a lot of us (myself certainly included) over think our own intelligence, the government doesn't need to have some sort of psyop to keep something away from people. Where TF are the Area 51 papers sitting in a Mar A Lago bathroom?? Should be a crime not to take those out with you.

IMO seems like there's more to gain (monetarily) from the pro-UFO side of things where you can subscribe or contribute to their research. That's not to discredit anything from OMM, who is an IE treasure, but there certainly is opportunists who want to make everything a conspiracy that take away from those who've put in the research.

First video: interesting, relevant, and important
Second video: a guy pitching a theoretical/philosophical thought experiment.

How are these related?

Lue Elizondo knows more about the subject than 99.9 of the Worlds population and is read into a lot more than he can reveal due to security clearances and classification.

It's relevant because he was the head of the black program and he's telling anyone who will listen that there is something to it.
So I can either listen to peoples beliefs or do my research on the best witness and read between the lines.

It's relevant because people need to prep themselves that the story and theologies people have faithfully followed somewhat blindly. May not be the truth at all. Humanity is egocentric and believes whatever their tribe tells them to believe.

I stopped listening to the second video after about a minute. It was like pulling teeth, slow and painful. Got a message? Just say it without pausing after every sentence.

To me Lue selects his words very carefully.
I mean if we knew what he knows and what he believes true, how do you break it to people that everything we believe about humanity is wrong. Our place on the planet and in the cosmos. How would you tell people that their religion and everything that thought to be true about the evolution of our species is different than what we think. Imagine if our very DNA was changed by an intelligent species more advanced than we are. What if "they" were found to be responsible? From what I've read in different religions we would call that entity God. I'm not calling them God but it really isn't that hard to imagine.

What if we are just part of the "Zoo" or an experiment from a highly advanced off world civilization. It's all hard to take in no matter how you cut it. It cuts right through the fabric of our perceived reality.

I'll still choose the red pill. No matter what's implied. I handled it ok as a child when I found out Santa wasn't real. This subject deserves to be cut free from the stigma and to be studied as much of anything I can think of. Why are we here? What's the real story? Etc.

Nephilim may be real. It's in the Bible. And if I had to guess, it's what he's hinting at. And if so he's appropriate for not giving the details, 99% aren't ready. Getting the sense you're aware of the Nephilim.

Absolutely could be something like that. Book of Enoch is very interesting too. Back when the powers that be edited what went in and out of the Bible. A lot has been lost in translation and lost in history. Some has just been downright fabricated and believed.

Ryan Graves recently said that he is getting reports of what is being described as "Dog Fights" in space between different groups...seems like Star wars type stuff. Some have theorized that this what may lead to crashes. Whatever these turn out to be... I believe that there are multiple groups.
I believe some will be peacetul and some will have other motifs.

For what it's worth regarding the urgency and seriousness of the hearings.
I heard from a mentor of mine that besides Grusch there will be at least 2 whistleblowers with 1st hand knowledge, data, visual 4k footage that is absolutely irrefutable. Actual beings on video. This is what got out to some in Congress and why they are rolling this out more aggressively. Andre Carson, Gaetz, Burchett, Luna have apparently witnessed the evidence. I cannot verify that as fact but I trust this information.

In 1993 Ben Rich renowned Lockheed Engineer (Skunkworks))
Engineer famously was quoted multiple times
"We have the technology to take ET home".

How far have we advanced technologically since 1947 around the time of the start of the phenomenon. I'm 70 years we have run laps around the previous civilizations.... Maybe Egypt has an argument as they clearly were tuned into something way ahead of their time. The pyramids have the best chance of standing up to a global cataclysm. All we have made would be gone in an instant. What we see around now would be unrecognizable .

Update So here are the towns people of the remote village in Lore to Peru. They said the authorities never came.

I'm skeptical of the explanation being miners in Jet Packs..

And here's why. The villagers were firing several rounds as documented on video. I imagine they would have hit one of these
"Illegal Miners in Jet Packs"

2 why the fuck would you invade a town in a Jet Pack. Easy target practice as they are not fast.

Yeah the local milita a 8 hour river ride from anything in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest aren't going to measure up to the pawns in a 1st world country infantry.

But.... Really not that hard to shoot a gun at something hovering in a Jet Pack.
My speculative opinion is a psyop but yeah. It ain't dude s fucking around flying around a village in Jet Packs especially since it wasn't vetted. It was laid out as a "likely" scenario.

I was just making a joke about the similarities between giant alien/angel creatures based in biblical texts and the forerunners in Prometheus.

Same general idea about taking an active role in the advancement of life, no?

Can you clarify? If it's not Aliens navigating the ship(s) either inside the ship or remotely like a drone, how are these ships created and getting here?
There are no such things as UFOs with ships! Just because there’s films of them doesn’t mean they actually exist numb nuts… There’s also films of a yeti and Santa Claus….

As astrophysicist Tyson, Degrasse said, “unless you show me aliens, I don’t believe it! Eyewitness testimony is the worst data“

There’s also the Easter bunny, the Loch Ness monster….

What does Neil Tyson do to debunk the radar. So if they are being witnessed and documented on radar that's not just eye witness testimony. Neil Tyson is a big fish in a fish bowl compared to the universe. To have to see an Alien is just being a debunker. No drones can do these maneuvers. It's fun to play the " This is guy is smarter than Most"
So I'm just going to adopt his opinion because I'm not capable of actually looking into the data and witness testimony no matter what I'm told.
