I explained that above. A deal is only as good as it's terms and no one here has seen even a hint at $$ figures. All we hear is recruits say "NIL is important but it's not the only thing that matters" in regards to NIL talks with ND. That's not a ringing endorsement of ND's NIL..So do you think the best QB in the transfer portal chose ND without any NIL guarantees?
So I guess show me where you rest your confidence? Is it in the $$ figures you've heard in back channels? Is it Savy Jack behing 'ahead of the curve'? Is it ND's recent history if supporting the football program (lol)? Is it the 5-star's we flipped to us at end of last signing day? Is it the weak terms of the UA contract that can't light a candle to our regional rival's contracts (Michigan, OSU)?
I'm sure Sam got something, but like I explained above, a "deal" can be worthless. Some free shoes and $20K (for example because no one has a clue what/if ND players have been paid)... $20K would mean Sam passed up more, per the obvious for a QB with his experience/caliber.
So I ask again, where are you resting your confidence in that ND's NIL is "significant"?
