Just be happy Fanatics hasn't taken over college sports like it has started to in the pros
I don’t think anyone has much of an issue with their gear. It’s there shoes, both used on the field and the “lifestyle” shoes that are a huge miss for everyone, especially teenagers and 20 something’s.I have some throwback UA ND tees I got in 2020, I think are awesome. Also like their golf stuff
I feel like trucker snapback hats have taken over everything already. It's too late to go back.Just be happy Fanatics hasn't taken over college sports like it has started to in the pros
Yea I don’t have UA shoes so can’t speak to thatI don’t think anyone has much of an issue with their gear. It’s there shoes, both used on the field and the “lifestyle” shoes that are a huge miss for everyone, especially teenagers and 20 something’s.
Completely disagree...it seems that UA is all slim fit...I have to always go at least a size upTheir fit is a lot better than anything Adidas had
The sizing on their t shirts and shorts are pathetic. I'm 5'8" and their small t shirts are way too long in a small.I like Under Armor. Most of my polos, golf shorts/pants, and shorts are UA. I think it’s all very comfortable and affordable. Don’t get the hate about the clothing itself.
He is right though.
What’s the gist of it?
If it isn't Nike or Jordan, kids won't like it. Nike/Jordan is pretty much all they wear these days.Athletes don't like it. Coaches don't like it. It's a worse product for the guys on the field. He doesn't buy the headline saying that it's the biggest apparel deal. It's obvious ND is a bit embarrassed by the whole thing because they didn't announce it in the usual way and instead opted to let it leak through Yahoo around 8 PM instead of having a dog and pony show like they typically do when you make a big splash. He's also annoyed that it's a long term deal that is going to stick with us for 10 years when Swarbrick is on his way out the door.
Also mentioned that UA is a bad partner as a sales company for ND. They don't advertise ND as much as they could, don't make a lot of MF stuff available for purchase, and are usually late on getting anything available. Cited the reveal of a new green jersey and the fact that you can't buy them anywhere.
Hard to really argue with any part of it tbh.
Yup...those are all pretty damn good points, and this is coming from somebody who is basically apathetic to the whole apparel situation.Athletes don't like it. Coaches don't like it. Tuck it in.The sizing on their t shirts and shorts are pathetic. I'm 5'8" and their small t shirts are way too long in a small.
I do like their golf shirts and shorts.
UA has gotten lazy over the years. Quality has taken a back seat. Marketing is extremely poor. I find it absolutely infuriating that a guy who has one foot out the door brokered this deal for nd. Don’t even get me started with his son working thereYup...those are all pretty damn good points, and this is coming from somebody who is basically apathetic to the whole apparel situation.

Jamie U also mentioned that as part of a research project, his wife analyzed why UA shoes cause more foot injuries than other shoe brands. Not if, but why.
LOL. They are absolutely the brand of choice. Pest control companies could be added to that list.Is it a prerequisite for every full service heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing company to be decked out in UA corporate polos?
Is that just a Kohl's?It’s funny that the UA store in Chicago doesn’t have ND stuff
They did last time I was there but it’s been a few years. It’s funny that the UA store in Chicago doesn’t have ND stuff
Kids also prefer On Cloud over the likes of UA. adidas still has a market for their NMD running shoes but that’s about it since they lost YeezyIf it isn't Nike or Jordan, kids won't like it. Nike/Jordan is pretty much all they wear these days.
But, yeah, this was a very boring move made by a guy that almost has two feet out the door.
Kohls around me used to have ND, Illinois, Northwestern and Wisconsin gear in abundance. They don't have any of that anymore. Same with Cubs, Bears, Hawks, Bulls. Is that just a Kohl's?
But Driskell likes it...
Polish, I also found this to be the case initially, which is why I didn't own a lot of UA gear. I feel like my ND stuff fits pretty good and I've purchased most of what I have in the last year or so since Freeman became coach. Maybe they've changed their fit recently?Completely disagree...it seems that UA is all slim fit...I have to always go at least a size up
Seriously? 🤬It’s funny that the UA store in Chicago doesn’t have ND stuff
To be fair I haven't seen any college gear in Nike stores. It’s funny that the UA store in Chicago doesn’t have ND stuff
