Really think this team should be as good as '18 and '20 playoff squads. Front 7 likely not as strong but should be way more explosive on offense. Schedule just is significantly harder than those years.
Mixing it up and keeping teams off balance is critical for parker and this offense to be elite and no excuse not to be able to.Having a true passing threat at QB makes a huge difference. For all the positive qualities Book had at ND, being able to consistently deliver from the pocket gives me great confidence in all games. There shouldn't be too many situations, where we are truly out of a game. A QB that can consistently make plays from the pocket and downfield gives you that shot.
Combine that with what I think is a deep defense and I'm in.
Inject it straight into my veins. Here’s to the koolaid!!!
Yep, according to Day there is no clear leader which means they don’t have a number 1. There is no way neither of them are a serious drop of from the last 2 they have had.Count me as very skeptical that Kyle McCord or Devin Brown are even remotely close to what OSU has had at QB lately.
Do you think Ford is in the top 8 of the rotation? I'd imagine he was 8-9 aft the end of spring. It was the DL's turn in front of the media today. Al Washington's transcript below. (Premium)

Since it's premium I can't post everything that stood out to me but maybe most was this.
While Mills experiment playing outside came and went without much success. Ford is a better athlete and I'm glad he's dropping weight and they're seeing what he can do working outside.
I'll take a cup of that shit! Gotta Irish it up a bit, regardless.Ive already mixed up the 14-0 koolaid.
Ford is probably 5th in the interior rotation behind Mills, Cross, Rubio and Onye.Do you think Ford is in the top 8 of the rotation? I'd imagine he was 8-9 aft the end of spring.
We gotta win game 1 first. Then win game 2 after. Then win all the others, each of those one by one by one until the last one is won. But it starts with 1 every time a game is played until there are none left to win, each one having been won at a time.
I read or heard somewhere that he just casually showed up in tremendous shape after sort of letting himself go. Everyone was like, ok, damn.Vernon is #17 correct? He looked like an absolute monster in one of those clips.
I thought it was Bothelo at first.I read or heard somewhere that he just casually showed up in tremendous shape after sort of letting himself go. Everyone was like, ok, damn.
He had personal issues his senior year. It really ruined him physically, mentally & emotionally.I read or heard somewhere that he just casually showed up in tremendous shape after sort of letting himself go. Everyone was like, ok, damn.
It wasn’t because he didn’t care about camps for a few years, he didn’t care about football. He’s lost like 30-40lbs in the last year or soRemember this 5 star player before he committed and then dropped bc he decided he didn’t give a shit about camps? Apparently this kid has made a reputation as a violent player already.

Wasn't Kyle McCord Harrison's QB in high school too? Gotta think even though he might not be Stroud or Fields, having that relationship helps. The fact that Devin Brown wears #33...should make McCord the starter alone. It reminds me of when Gardner wore 98 at M-------. Guys named Devin and their weird jersey numbers.
Why can’t it feel like this all the time!
Estime gonna eat this year. Not a bad video. Wish it had more players that are gonna be on the team this year. Diggs should have never been on the video.
Probably a girl I reckon. He had personal issues his senior year. It really ruined him physically, mentally & emotionally.
He gained 30 lbs of fat & was really slow & out of shape.
He has handled that problem (hopefully for good), & dropped the weight & got into great shape when he showed up to ND.
He is back to himself again.
Yep agreed. Good short analysis Philly.Really think this team should be as good as '18 and '20 playoff squads. Front 7 likely not as strong but should be way more explosive on offense. Schedule just is significantly harder than those years.
Dumb luck that our ACC slate includes Clempson in back-to-back years.Yep agreed. Good short analysis Philly.
I agree, but you never know. Regardless, going into the OSU game we will have the better QB.Count me as very skeptical that Kyle McCord or Devin Brown are even remotely close to what OSU has had at QB lately.
