I don't need to know what was going on but to go from pushing 300lbs going into his sr year and not playing well, to fully reshaped a year later, great to see! Hopefully whatever was going on is done or better handled.

They have an interesting group of athletes that all have varying degrees of experience playing both off ball LB and edge. Sneed, Burnham, JR, Botelho, and Liafau.

They should be able to get creative with that.

Not worried about Vernon getting PT, not as common for DEs to get PT in the power five as freshmen

PFF only lists him as participating in six snaps, all against TSU.

Can’t imagine it was easy for a kid who was at one point a 5 star edge rusher to admit that DT is the best fit for him going forward.
