I guess I would think that if one of the ND reporters was caught lying constantly then the blowback from subscribers would be huge i.e. cancellations.

Vince agrees with Driskell on everything, it doesn’t matter what the topic is. 3 hour podcasts are insane. I tried to listen to the sped up version, but I couldn’t get used to it. Listening them talk about the RB room, you’d think that all 5 will be Heisman finalist in December.

II has the best pod, and it isn’t even close.

It's not just Vince though...Ryan Roberts does the same thing. The funny thing is watching Shaun Davis contradict Driskell on Lucky Lefty and then go on IB and change his whole perspective to parrot Driskell. All the people in the IB chat literally go on other beat chats and ND forums and regurgitate the exact thoughts Driskell spews. One of Driskell's favorite takes is how Bertrand and Kiser lack length but are really athletic and really fast and now I see people bring that up all the time! Vince was on last night and literally shouting into his mic that the LB's aren't slow, they're really fast and athletic, they just struggle because they lack length. Gotta give Driskell credit for developing a cult following.

I think this is the problem I'm having with consuming 90% of what is available to us. Especially with the collateral damage of Kelly leaving and a new staff coming in. Recruiting coverage in particular has just been horrible and the fallout caused on message boards, this message board in particular, can't be overstated enough. Every visit, every update, is the same bullshit puked out to us over and over again. They get everyone all worked up into a tizzy, then the dudes in question fall off and sign elsewhere leaving a trail of tears and vomit behind.

this week on ISD it was Mike Frank's turn for his wifi to crap out. I'm sure it happens all the time to podcasters in general but they are just too lazy to edit their podcasts properly before publishing

Him and I had some battles in the past.
The funny thing is, when they were private, he was a lot more willing to go back & forth. But publicly, he is him.
He basically alienated a group of us, all former athletes, who used to chat with him on the side, because he refused to give in on obvious things…like BK knowing more football than him. And his refusal to acknowledge Vince is utterly pointless on his show.

Jamie is easily the core piece of what makes ISD great.

He really helps balance out Mike on the Power Hour.

I listened to Hit and Hustle a lot, but now I had to take it out of my workout podcast rotation, because there is nothing more annoying than starting a run or workout v& the podcast you are listening to keeps going in & out.
Now I just put it on the TV later when cooking dinner or doing meal prep.

It's a pretty common problem in news media in general, where opinion is cheaper and easier to produce than actual news, but doesn't tell you anything new so much as play on your emotions and preconceptions.

The season can't come soon enough.

I mean there was an entire 3 month period a few years back where Mike’s audio kept screwing up and layering his responses to Jamie when Jamie was speaking lol. That was unbearable because you could never understand either of them.
