Looking at this from a non-ND lens, it’s tough to blame anyone for choosing OSU over them. Better program and doing more with NIL. Just the fact of the matter. Hopefully ND can chip away at that narrative during the season.

I think OSU is probably the worst possible choice for him given how they’ve under-developed defensive talent under Ryan Day, and he is going to need at least a season, probably 2, of development

Washington was literally brought in to recruit. That's it.. This is wild.

Can't blame NIL on this one. Someone got out worked.

There was a rumor 5 or so months ago that Washington showed up to momma Scott’s work and she was not pleased/creeped out. It seemed like BS at that time, but wonder if there was a semblance of truth to it.

and 2024 is not..

Even with Canion’s decommitment, it’s top-heavy on offensive skill, which is what the program has needed. If you’re going to have a BK-style class in terms of ranking, I’d rather see the focus be on skill talent.

Not sure BK’s class would “miss” the same way.

Idk if it’s good or bad, just different… but I think it does point to Freeman being a better recruiter overall in a strange way. Or maybe I’m just a homer.
