Clarence Lewis was starting corner for the first half of the season.

The first play at OSU had me stoked and it was really all down hill from there.

The fact they let him speak to the media when it was said he informed the coaches before is probably the weirdest part of this, unless that is being misreported.

I honestly don't think Styles' development under Del means much. Del sucked, and Styles kind of fell off last year. If Styles just isn't clicking with how the current WR coach wants to do things and he's getting passed up by the freshmen, the staff was trying to do what they could by him to find him a spot that's a better fit on defense, because he's talented but he just hasn't put it together.

I think this is more of an accolade for Stuckey, showing that they're developing the young group coming in who are competing right away.

Styles was also reportedly unhappy with Del and going to leave if we retained him. So maybe he just doesn't respond to coaching.

Seems like a likely landing spot, but I hope he's not under any delusions that he'll be playing wide receiver there. Pretty sure the only way they would consider him is as defensive back.

players can also stipulate "no contact" which means coaches can't contact him and in this case it usually means a player already has a transfer destination set though. Not sure which status Styles has
