33 Truckin. What a good year running the ball.

Still got my hat. It sits on top of my bookshelf in my office.

I agree with others. How does he not get a legitimate roster spot with the need for backup RB's throughout the season.

That's awesome. Good for him. Hope he finds the job rewarding. Loved his no nonsense style.

Crazy to think he had a four year NFL "career" and only earned 2M
Obviously, an astronomical amount of money for most professions for four years of work, but the NFL continues to win when they can pay players this little for four years of work in the most profitable league in the history of mankind.

Best of luck to him!
I now live near where he went to high school and whenever I ask locals about him they only ever speak glowingly.

IIRC four years gets him the NFL pension which is the goal of most players who aren’t already multi-millionaires.

Can't remember the rules, but it might not since he spent a lot of time on practice squads. Time will tell.
