Dude, if it's tough, you can let me and my wife try your wealth at our house. Give me a week and I'll see if I can make it work. No promises.

(To be fair, the headline lacks context. Still, read it and come to your own conclusion here)

It’s tone-deaf but I understand his point and concern about raising kids who don’t know the challenges that “regular” people face and the possible repercussions for that when the kids are older.

As someone from New England who has followed him his whole career. I can very much attest to the fact that Brady is an odd dude but seems very family-focused and I think is very much concerned with being a good husband/father and the balancing act with that and having an extremely time-consuming job.

I really enjoyed Man in the Arena. More than I thought I would. His upbringing is definitely a key factor in how he's family centered.

I will never know the answer to this but just because you have that kind of money, do you HAVE TO have people clean for you, cook for you, drive you places?

I went to school with Romo at EIU. When he signed his first big deal with Dallas, he was driving the same shit box pickup truck he had in college.

If he's concerned about being a good father, retire and spend more time teaching the kids about life. Anything he makes at this point isn't going to change anything for him and his family.

Did he retire again?

I was hoping he'd go to San Francisco because Kyle Shanahan is totally QB cursed and it would have been hilarious.

Part of me hopes he un-retires & reretires every year to troll ESPN/NFL Network as they go on & on & on about this story like a bunch of little school girls. I was at the gym today and it was nonstop on every TV. Reminded me why I don’t watch SC anymore.

Dude's is getting basically an elite free agent baseball contract to do games on FOX. Think I saw something that said 10 years $375 million.

... you need an obvious personality to be good on TV. Then you need a personality which doesn't take itself too seriously.
Drew Brees no to number one; Peyton Manning yes to both. Brady? Troy Aikman, in my assessment, barely makes both of those criteria, and might not be prominent TV if he was not a Dallas Cowboy hero. (Dallas connections seem to trump other issues for some reason which I've never figured out nor related to. ... not my America's Team.)

Hope whatever he got this past season was worth what he gave up.
What’s the difference between playing a season or calling games? It’s even more travel to call the games. They got divorced for other reasons than his playing another year.

I guess I just assumed staying the fuck home for a year was an actual option for him.

I'm sure he needs the money for his heated swimming pool cover, though.
